Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu followed the measures taken against the coup attempt on the one hand, and explained the coup attempt to the ministers of foreign affairs of other countries who phoned him, on the other hand. Stating that the control belonged to the legitimate government, Çavuşoğlu requested the extradition of FETÖ leader Fetullah Gülen during his conversation with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
