Erhan Dündar, who was a 21 year old deaf person, was severely injured by the putschist soldiers on the night of July 15th. He stayed in intensive care at the Çapa Medical Faculty Hospital for 10 days and died a martyr’s death on July 25th.
Dündar, who was the only child of his family, went to resist the putschist soldiers at the Ataturk Airport first and then went to Sultangazi, Istanbul.
Dündar, who was a disabled person from Malataya, first went to the Ataturk Airport with his father. He and his father were severely injured by putschist soldiers after returning to Sultangazi after 03:00 AM in front of the Baştabya Barracks in Sultangazi, Istanbul.
Dündar fought for his life for 10 days but died a martyr’s death on July 25th. The martyr was buried in the Edirnekapı Martyrs’ Graveyard after the funeral held in the Sultangazi Mosque.
