Starting with the July 15 coup attempt, all the steps taken in the Syria issue in the last five years need to be re-evaluated, going backwards. The security-focused attempts, operations, the way these operations were reflected on politics and the nature of the teams on duty in the region need to be seriously questioned, more so than politics.
