Anti-terror police rounded up 15 people, suspected of involvement in terrorism in the southern city of Adana late Friday.
Suspects are accused of opening fire on police officers during the illegal protests, held in the city's Seyhan district. Police swooped down on 20 addressed in the operation, backed by special operation forces.
A number of hunting rifles, outlawed documents and some amount of smuggled cigarettes were seized when they searched the suspects' properties.
The operation is reportedly underway.
