At least five people were killed and 27 others were injured Wednesday morning when a bus overturned near Gallipoli district, Çanakkale province, according to reports.
The accident occured at 7 am near Kavak village in Gallipoli, media outlets reported.
The governor's office said that the bus was going from Istanbul to the Turkish military cemetery on the Gallipoli peninsula.
The injured were taken to hospitals in the provinces of Çanakkale and Edirne.One of the injured latr died at hospital.
When the accident occurred, the vehicle was out of control, reports said.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
