Closed FETÖ schools in Kyrgyzstan face restructuring

Currently in Kyrgyzstan, there are 21 operational high schools under the Sebat Schools name in addition to one university that belong to FETÖ and provide education to 12,243 students

According to reports, work has started on the Turkish National Education Ministry restructuring Kyrgyzstan's Gülen schools, which previously belonged to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).

According to reports, work has started on the Turkish National Education Ministry restructuring Kyrgyzstan's Gülen schools, which previously belonged to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).



Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev announced last year that the closed FETÖ schools would undergo a name change in addition to alterations to their curriculums in order to improve the quality of their education.





The issue of closing FETÖ schools was once again in the headlines following the year-end press conference held by the Kyrgyz President's Office in which the process of the Turkish National Education Ministry restructuring the schools began to take form.
