President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid a visit to the southeastern Turkish province of Gaziantep, where last week's suicide bombing occurred, targeting a wedding ceremony and killing 54 people.
Erdoğan was welcomed by Family and Social Policy Minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, Gaziantep Governor Ali Yerlikaya and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin.
In addition to making a speech at a rally to be held in the city, the president will be visiting the bride and groom whose wedding ceremony was targeted by the terrorists.
The Gaziantep attack last week has the highest recent death toll on record.
Turkey has been under the increasing attacks of the Kurdistan Workers ' Party (PKK) and its affiliated groups along with Daesh.
