Saudi Arabia announced that representatives of the Islamic Alliance, formed to combat terrorism, will meet next month to coordinate their fight against terrorist organizations.

Al Arabiya News Channel reported that leaders of Muslim countries who joined the 34-state Islamic military alliance will gather in the Kingdom's capital, where its center of operation is based.

The leaders of Islamic military alliance , which includes Turkey, will focus on the latest developments in Syria's civil war and ways to battle Daesh, the report said.

According to the Guardian, while presenting the alliance to international media in December 2015, Saudi Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman said it will confront not only Daesh, but any other terrorist organization that appears.

The global alliance excludes Saudi Arabia's regional rival Iran as well as Iraq and Syria, as Daesh declared an Islamic caliphate estending from Iraq's Diyala to Syria's Aleppo.
