Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists opened fire on a public bus and threw a petrol bomb at it in a recent terrorist attack in the southern city of Adana.

The gunmen were reportedly protesting the last week's operations, which targeted PKK positions in the southeastern town of Silvan, Diyarbakır. Reports said that the attack took place on a main boulevard in the city's Seyhan district. No casualties were reported.

Media outlets reported the public bus entered the boulevard just after the PKK closed it to traffic while chanting slogans denouncing Sunday's anti-terror raids.

Video footage, which emerged in the aftermath of the attack, showed passengers barely escaping death. In the video, the driver was seen opening the doors of the bus to help passengers flee when gunmen hurled a petrol bomb at the bus, which caught fire.

The frames, recorded by a cab camera in the bus, showed masked PKK members ordering the driver to stop the bus after opening fire. When PKK supporters forced passengers to leave the bus at gunpoint, a woman was shouting in panic: “They have guns, they are firing."

A PKK gunman punched the camera inside the bus.

In the video footage, a woman was seen trapped on a seat before escaping. The bus was engulfed in flames when the PKK hurled fire bombs at the vehicle. Acting on a tip from citizens, police rushed to the scene and put out the flames using a water cannon.

When the police forces arrived on the scene, the PKK members fled into the backstreets.
