Security forces swoop down on previously-spotted properties in the province of Adana to find drug dealers
Police in Adana detained 21 dealers, suspected of being linked with a drug-trafficking ring, in a dawn operation on Friday.
Anti-smuggling forces raided on 28 properties simultaneously in central district of Yüreğir and its remote areas. Public order and riot squads were also involved in the operation, supported by armored vehicles and a police helicopter.
Police searched performed security checks on the persons, found inside the hideout, while sniffer dogs were tracking down illegal drugs on the roofs, in bath and toilets.
A certain amount of drug was confiscated during the operations.
