Turkish police have arrested 6 suspects in a simultaneous operation across three provinces targeting Daesh terrorists.
The Counterterrorism Division of the Istanbul Police Department launched an investigation to identify the suspects going to the engagement areas in Syria and Iraq on behalf of Daesh, and those who take Daesh members to the areas.
Within the scope of the investigation, six suspects were arrested in the simultaneous operations carried out in Istanbul, Kocaeli and Konya. Police captured a great number of digital material and organizational documents within the search of the residences and vehicles of the suspects, along with a lot of cash.
The investigation process of the suspects is ongoing.
