As military operations in southeastern Turkey have continued since December 15, the Turkish military said that on Monday, 10 more Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists were killed, eight in the southeastern province of Şırnak and two in Silopi.
The military said that, a total of 195 terrorists were killed in Şırnak while 30 have been killed in Silopi since the operations began.
The military also added that a cache of weapons and ammunition was seized during the operations.
The PKK, which is considered a terrorist group by Turkey and much of the international community, including the United States and the European Union, has been involved in a separatist struggle with Turkey since the early 1980s.
Turkey blames the group for the deaths of thousands of people.
