Qatar's Emir on short visit to Turkey, expressly to hold a tete a tete with Turkey's President

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday, March 12, in the Turkish capital of Ankara.

Erdoğan met with Qatar's Emir to discuss the two countries' economical and political cooperation, as well as current regional events and tensions.

According to official sources, Qatar's Emir came to Turkey especially to talk with Erdoğan. After their tete a tete, Qatar's Emir is scheduled to leave Turkey.
