The U.S. has threatened Syria’s Assad with “chemical files” through its special envoy Brett Mcgurk, in return for the Syrian regime recognizing a planned so-called Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) state in occupied Syrian regions, following a meeting with Syrian Mukhabarat chief Ali Mamluk.

A second meeting in Raqqa

U.S. anti-Daesh coalition envoy Brett Mcgurk has stated that Assad must recognize a “Syrian Kurdistan Federal Region” that will be announced in March 2018 by PKK terrorists, after he met Syrian Mukhabarat Chief Ali Mamluk in Hasakah in Oct. 18 and informed him of a planned referendum in PKK-occupied regions of Syria, to be held on Jan. 19, 2018, where PKK/PYD terrorists will one-sidedly declare the independence of so-called “cantons.”

In an effort to get the Syrian regime to comply, Mcgurk threatened Assad with chemical files and launching several campaigns against his regime.

Following this meeting, the two sides met again, and that resulted in an aerial campaign that flattened the city of Raqqa.

During the second meeting, Syrian National Security Council (Mukhabarat) head Ali Mamluk worked with Mcgurk on updated maps.

‘Leader Apo’ vetoed

PKK terrorists celebrated the handover of Raqqa from Daesh for two days. One of the terror organization’s so-called commanders dedicated the sham “victory” to PKK ringleader Abdullah Öcalan.

Posters of the terrorist ringleader were hung in Raqqa’s Naeem Square and the whole city was filled with PKK symbols.

Mcgurk is said to have taken part in these celebrations in Raqqa. He also rejected a request by PKK terrorists to change the name of Raqqa’s largest square to “Leader Apo,” saying it would prompt “an international response.”

The people of Raqqa have nicknamed the square where Daesh carried out beheadings as “the square of hell.”

Ongoing support for PKK terrorists

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the Syrian Democratic Forces (PKK/PYD) and the anti-Daesh coalition has successfully taken back control over Raqqa, noting that the city’s capture is “a critical breakthrough” in the fight against Daesh.

In a statement, Trump declared that the U.S. would "soon transition into a new phase in which we will support local security forces, de-escalate violence across Syria, and advance conditions for lasting peace, in order to ward off further threats of terror."

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
