President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has begun a major two-day official visit to India by meeting the country's leaders and laying a wreath to renowned Indian independence campaigner, Mahatma Gandhi.Erdoğan laid a wreath at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial in the Indian capital during his official visit to the country on Monday. Following the welcoming ceremony, Erdoğan, accompanied by the Turkish delegation, headed to the renowned pacifist leader's memorial, where he signed the guest book after paying tribute to the Indian independence figure.
