Aerial view of Istanbul- Izmir Highway

The video shows an aerial view of first route of the Istanbul- Izmir highway, which will be open in the near future. The 40 kilometer way between Gemlik- Altınova will be put into sevice in several days. The Istanbul- Izmir highway construction, which cost 18 billion Turkish Lira, continues in full course.With the 384-kilometer-long highway and 49-kilometer linking road, the travel time between Istanbul and Izmir will decrease to 3 hours.
