Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar are not eager to rush home following the accord signed between Myanmar and Bangladesh on Thursday to return hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslims who have fled to Bangladesh, as the persecuted Muslim minority mistrust the Myanmar government and fears reprisals from Buddhist fanatics. The Myanmar army escalated an attack on Rohingya Muslims on Aug. 25. Since then, at least 620,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh to escape Myanmar's persecution. They've been killed, raped, tortured, and their homes have been set ablaze by the Myanmar army in what the UN describes as an “ethnic cleansing.”
