Turkish Armed Forces has stated that 2144 Daesh targets have been hit and 1172 terrorists killed in Syria and Iraq since August 2015.
As many as 807 of the total terrorists neutralized were in Syria,and the remaining 365 in Iraq.
More than 470,000 people have been killed since the beginning of the five-year-long civil war in Syria.
The same figures show that 6.5 million Syrians were evacuated to the safe zone, while 5 million were forced to emigrate.
Turkey has opened his doors to 2,600,561 Syrians, 264,815 of whom are currently housed in refugee camps.
Since the Daesh attacks intensified, Turkey responded with barrel rocket launcher batteries and tank shootings as retaliatory measures were ramped up, particularly in the border region.
Along with the land forces' efforts, Turkey located targets using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and manned reconnaissance aircraft (GCP) which assisted in the capture of 388 Daesh terrorists along with 82 PKK/PYD terrorists.
Also in Iraq, Turkey provided train-equip support to the military personnel of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government.
During the training, one Turkish soldier was martyred and 10 others wounded.
More than 365 Daesh terrorists were killed in the Turkish counterattack.
