Eight hundred Daesh terrorists have been deployed to Idlib where Turkey is currently making preparations to launch an operation. Daesh terrorists were transferred from the Hama-Akerbat region to Idlib by buses belonging to the Assad regime, according to Ahmet Derviş, a deputy in the Syrian Parliament. It was reported that these terrorists plan on launching an attack on the Turkish Armed Forces.

Turkey’s preparations for an operation in Syria’s Idlib are complete. The first shipment, which consisted of armored vehicles and heavy equipment, to Idlib, which is currently controlled by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) opposition group, was made through the Cilvegözü border gate. Vehicles that pass the border are then made to wait at the buffer zone.

To prepare the Syrian side of the border for the passing of the tanks and armored vehicles, eight earth diggers and vehicles, which will ensure the establishment of a substructure, for communication purposes have passed through the border gate.

Air strikes on Syria

At least 12 civilians died when several unidentified air strikes were launched on northern Idlib on Thursday, which is currently controlled by opposition forces. At least 100 civilians lost their lives when the Assad regime had launched a chemical attack in the early hours of Apr. 4 in Syria’s northern town of Khan Shaykhun.
