President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan pay a state visit to Turkey on Oct. 25-26, 2017 upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President Erdoğan and President Mirziyoyev will hold a bilateral meeting and co-chair a meeting between delegations on Oct. 25. Following the signing ceremony of agreements, President Erdoğan and President Mirziyoyev will meet again at an official dinner.
Various aspects of Turkey-Uzbekistan relations will be discussed during the talks and views will be exchanged on regional and global developments.
It is the first Presidential visit from Uzbekistan to Turkey after nearly 20 years and is of historic importance. It will contribute to reinforcing the cooperation between our two friendly and brotherly countries in all areas- in particular economy and culture.
President Mirziyoyev is expected to pay a visit to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and meet with Speaker İsmail Kahraman.
