Everyone is eyeing the November elections in the US!

It is obvious that U.S. President Donald Trump is dreading the midterm elections in November. Public opinion research has given indications that the Democrats would at least constitute a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. The focus of the countries, particularly China, Russia and Iran, which are troubled by Trump's policies is on the elections to be held in the November.

For a recently vacated post in the "Federal Supreme Court," Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who is known to be a radical Catholic. Normally, Kavanaugh's approval process in the Senate Judiciary Committee would be finalized on Sept. 24 (yesterday). However, the session was postponed due to sexual harassment allegations against Kavanaugh. Professor Christine Blasey Ford, who claims that she has been sexually harassed, will appear before the senators of the committee on Thursday. Trumpist Republicans strongly reacted to the delay in Kavanaugh's approval process. However, the Democrats follow a strategy of postponing the approval process after the November elections. This strategy involves the investigation of Kavanaugh's background by the FBI. Trump is of course not expected to involve the FBl. Sessions on Thursday will determine the future of the Supreme Court. Trump argues that he was elected by those who wanted conservatives to control the Supreme Court.

Yesterday, Trump's new tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports was enforced. China will apply additional retaliatory tariffs on $60 billion of U.S. products. China refrains from making concessions to Trump, but Trump does not intend to take a step back. Jack Ma, the founder of China's e-commerce giant, Alibaba Group, warned that the trade war between the two countries could last up to 20 years. Observers assert that China's President Xi Jinping may remain at his post for the duration of his lifetime, whereas Trump may be elected president for only one more term, and therefore China will patiently resist.

The Russia Investigation conducted by Robert Mueller is a serious problem for Trump. Trump, living in fear of impeachment, hopes to win the November elections and China wants him to lose. The parties to the “Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which Trump annulled, have expectations of the upcoming elections. Similar expectations are valid for the signatory countries of the Paris Climate Agreement and NAFTA, as well as the European Union and NATO members. These countries hope for an election result that will cramp Trump's style and restrain him.

The decision of the U.S. Department of State to impose sanctions on China's military procurement of warplanes and the S-400 missile defense system from Russia, increased tensions between the two countries. U.S. Secretary of Defense James Norman Mattis wants the new allies of the United States to be exempted from sanctions, particularly India and Vietnam, which buy weapons from Russia. Mattis states that the sanctions will drive the allies away from the States and help to increase the influence of Russia and China.

John Kerry, who served as the Secretary of State during Obama's presidency, was also on the target board of the Republicans due to his meetings with Iranian diplomats. Kerry, who opposed Trump's withdrawal of the U.S. from the Iranian Nuclear Agreement, allegedly called for patience saying that Trump would soon leave. Since the Trump administration threatens to impose sanctions against Western companies doing business in Iran, EU members, namely signatories of the nuclear agreement, are also interested in the November elections. The Zionists have placed their bets on Trump, who was deemed to be the top pro-Israel president in the history of the United States.

All these issues are expected to be discussed at the 73rd United Nations General Assembly. Likewise, the efforts of pro-Israel hawks within Trump’s administration to disable many UN organs will be discussed. The main headings of Trump's speech at the UN are expected to be Iran and China. It seems that the UN will be the scene of one of the harshest debates in its history.
