The names that Trump authorized to ensure a final peace agreement between the Israelis and the Palestinians are both of Jewish origin and supporters of the settlement policies in the West Bank. As for Trump's so-called great peace plan, for which he is yet to give the outline, can be considered garbage. Israel, which has no intention for peace, is deceiving everybody. All Israel wants is for Palestinians to forever disappear.
In 1947, the UN had clearly stated that Arabs who remained within the Israeli border would have citizenship rights. This was the fundamental condition for Israel joining the UN. It was emphasized in Israel's independency memorandum that the UN's requirements would be respected, all citizens would have equal social and political rights without discrimination against faith, race or gender, and that freedom of conscience, faith, education and culture would be fully guaranteed. What will the UN do against the disregard of this fundamental condition? With this law, Arabs, who make up 20 percent of the population, will be treated like second-class citizens. This is what was actually happening in practice anyway.

On his visit to the White House to meet with John Bolton, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman gifted him an old caricature depicting his role in the annulment decision. Can a just peace possibly emerge for Palestinians from policies run by such men?
