Trump’s so-called peace plan will lead to a ‘wonderful world’ of chaos

On Jan. 28, U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled the so-called Middle East Peace Plan, which he marketed as the "Deal of the Century," with Benjaman Netanyahu by his side at the White House.

In the package, Palestinians are treated as pariahs in their homeland. There is no plan to appease Palestinians, there is only provocation. So much so that even more painful Israeli conditions have been placed on the table.

In 2008, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was willing to leave 93.7 percent of the West Bank to the Palestinians. Olmert's approach has been described by Israel as the most generous offer ever made to Palestinians (!). In Trump's plan, Israel will be able to annex at least 30 percent of the West Bank.

The production team of Trump's so-called peace plan acted along the most inflammatory lines of the "Israeli Right". The entire American Jewish team was already known to support Israel's illegal settlements before joining the Trump administration. Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and chief Advisor, has long been known for his close ties to the Netanyahu family. Israel's U.S. Ambassador David Friedman and International Negotiations Special Representative Jason Greenblatt were among the lawyers of Trump's companies.

While Trump announced his plan at a ceremony in the White House, billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam had front row seats to the action. Adelson was both among the most generous donors of Trump's election campaign in 2016, and also the staunchest supporter of Netanyahu in Israel.

Adelson, known as the man behind Trump's decision to transfer the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, also put the freely distributed newspaper called "Hayom Israel" under Netanyahu’s disposal in Israel.

Adelson, a financier of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), is also the owner of the "Las Vegas Review Journal" newspaper. His name also appears in the corruption cases against Netanyahu.

The most enthusiastic of the guests in the White House were Evangelical Christian-Zionist leaders. Thanks to the Trump presidency, Christian-Zionists enjoy the highest level of representation in any U.S. administration. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo are known for being fervent Christian-Zionists. The issue for them is not confined to Palestine. Israel must rule over all lands from the Nile to the Euphrates River.

Trump's decision to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, support for Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights and greenlighting illegal Zionist settlements in the West Bank is only one part of the big plan.

In fact, the Christian-Zionist plan, which ultimately destroys Jews or ends with them converting to Christianity, is nothing more than a "plan of chaos" centered around the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Just look at the Christian-Zionists, who watched Trump with enthusiasm, as they glance at the Jewish guests in the hall as sacrificial lambs that they are feeding for now but will slaughter in the future.

Jewish Zionists, on the other hand, politically regard Christian-Zionists as “useful idiots” who consider internalizing and supporting everything that Israel does as “God's work.” This is a tragi-comic situation.

Netanyahu made sure to use grand statements when listing the production team.

“Mr. President, allow me congratulate your fantastic team,” he said, not forgetting the three shameful Arab representatives who attended the ceremony as extras, “The ambassadors of the UAE, Bahrain and Oman, it’s my great pleasure to see you here,” he said to a big applause.

The plan’s maps literally look like a real estate brochure. It appears as though the team took extra care to address the real estate mogul in Trump. They were generous (!) enough to include in the brochure the teeny tiny plots they allocated to the Palestinians in a swathe of land controlled by Israel. At the ceremony, Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World was playing in the background. Everyone looked so happy in this charade. What a wonderful world indeed! Does one have to be blind to not realize that this disgrace will set the whole region on fire?
