US foreign policy elites are seeking to stop Trump’s Syria pullout

I don't know exactly what goes on in his head, but it seems that Trump wants U.S. troops to withdraw completely from Syria. He cited Daesh as the reason for the presence of U.S. troops in Syria. Trump, who argues that Daesh has been defeated 100 percent, has been saying that the U.S. military mission in Syria has come to an end.

Establishment bipartisan foreign policy elite, described as a “military bureaucracy” and ”Blob”, do not see eye to eye with Trump on this issue. Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress agree on this. Preparing for the 2020 election while facing an impeachment inquiry, Trump's contradictory tweets can be seen in a different light.

Trump's advantage is that average American voters are weary of the “endless wars” of the United States. Trump was elected President in the 2016 election. Even though Trump has repeatedly said that he would pullout U.S. soldiers from the “stupid wars that cost trillions of dollars” in the Middle East, he attributes his inability to do so to the maximum pressure applied by "The Blob."

Lindsey Graham, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee at the U.S. Congress, voices The Blob's views. Graham argues that the decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria jeopardizes the security of the nation and Trump's Presidency. These messages contain threats to Trump. “I think he [Lindsey] would like to stay there [in Syria] for the next 200 years. But I do not agree," he says. Trump is trying to end the endless wars, but by sending tens of thousands of soldiers to the region, some circles want to start a new one, Trump has said.

There is no Congress decision to deploy U.S. troops in Syria. Congress temporarily delegated the authority of the U.S. Presidents to deploy troops to foreign countries. The Congress cunningly wants to make presidents pay the political price of declaring wars . That's why Trump said, “Those who mislead us into Middle East wars are still pressuring us to fight. They have no idea how bad their ideas are. Why don't they want to be the ones to declare wars?”

Israel is benefiting the most from U.S. presence in Syria. The PYD-PKK, and Daesh are in the same camp. The Blob, Military Industrial Complex, Neocons, Christian-Zionists and Israel are all part of a coalition. Mainstream media is on the side of this coalition. Together they renounce Trump's military pullout and lobby to impose aggressive sanctions on Turkey.

Trump has long been critical of the Neocons and argues that the invasion of Iraq was a big mistake. But U.S. Vice President Mike Pence never once criticized the invasion of Iraq. Conservative commentators against the intervention stress that Pence is not all that different from Neocon warrior John Bolton, who was recently sacked by Trump.

It doesn't matter what Trump and ordinary Americans want for the powers he represents with Senator Graham. They don't care about Trump being elected for a second term. They think that if Trump doesn't want to play by their rules, they'll go with Pence. Republican senators Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and former Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley are waiting in excitement. Trump is aware of this and that's why he's flip flopping.

There are, of course, supporters of Trump's attempt to withdraw troops among Democrats and conservative Republicans. According to these circles, the presence of the U.S. in Syria has no serious grounds for “national interests”. Against the background of objections to withdrawing soldiers, the Israeli national anthem plays, while The Blob and their followers try to keep up with the music.

In 2016, Trump was elected President of the United States despite The Blob and “Deep State“. Trump likened "The Blob" to a swamp that smothered the average American taxpayer. Trump now faces a dilemma. Either he will give up his claims and be dragged into this quagmire, or he will continue to fight the quagmire with the support of everyday American voters.
