"Bread" dough without politics…

Because of its geographic position and ancient burden, Turkey is a difficult country which is open to crises… In the sense of communal fabric, Turkey is a country with a high dose of fragility…

This is a realm, where different communal fabrics can live solely separately and only side by side ever since eternity….

"Monism" is the dominant factor in our political culture. What we seek is always the same thing. We desire to live with people resembling us or to create them. Because of this, today most of us live in a congregation, whether religious or laic, or, whether left-winger or right-winger, and praise it and fight for this life style.

From this side, we understand from politics that "shutting our community and its values to change is equal to preserving it in its most unadulterated condition".

With its other side, we assign the struggle meaning to politics…The struggle that is beneficial and is based upon expanding our living space and narrowing down the other…. Our political issues sit upon "the pursuit of expanding the living space of this community to the detriment of other communities in terms of financial possibilities of our political practice and the absolutization of our community"s cultural values"…

We might be changing in a lot of topics, but this doesn"t mean that we had gotten rid of the weight of "patriarchal culture and politics"…

The essential center of this, in other words, the production site of it is the laicist- authoritative white fabric, which is also remembered by conservatives when you say patriarchal culture.

It should be acknowledged that in the topic of patriarchy and in the competition between communities in this topic, "laic congregation" is leading the line by far…

This patriarch and fundamentalist culture, which judges everyone that is different from itself in a scale ranging from primitiveness to reactionism and excludes them, and, which degrades modernity and democracy to demanding what resembles itself and praising it, seems that it will be giving us a headache for a longer time…

The biggest obstacle in this sense is the "communitarian life style stance and policy".

This stance and policy should be considered an issue, which generally destroys CHP and the left wing , forces them to lose their origins and transforms Turkey into a single party state…

This "communitarian life style stance", which we can describe as politics that is based on protecting the resistance-centered cultural-ideological layout, is actually standing in front of us as the manifestation of that communities" inner depression.

After this segregationist and separatist understanding, which is unique for this community, had hidden behind concepts like laicism, modernity, westernism and modernism, and had deactivated its origins by clinging itself on the pure stylistic symbols of these concepts, this scenery had become unrecoverable.

However, this inner depression is producing personalities that are split in half.

This dual structure is opening doors to an authoritative view and treatment on others, while democratic ones for itself, and to an attitude that monopolized privileges and connects them to conditions, and also strengthens the "third world elitist image". By desiring to keep democracy only for themselves, the members of this group is transforming it into a privilege system, and "assimilating it with their own value systems" by forgetting that the democracy is originally an attitude towards different values.

Isn"t it curious that out of the three candidates and three streams, the congregation is the only one that represents a no-politics, hollow beneficiary front attitude?

This congregation"s candidate Ihsanoglu"s statements which exclude him and the meaning assigned to him, are quite startling. This attitude, which fits Sarigül and Ihsanoglu in the same fare, is picturing the helplessness of putting the burden of the community"s fears and values on another intermediary"s shoulders.

This situation is quite saddening, not only from their point of view, but also in the sense of the principle"s need for pluralist politics.
