Politics of hatred
We had experienced violence, hatred, burning and destruction too much during the Gezi events, and now we are experiencing it once again. The ones who had burned squares are now doing the same thing with the Kobane reason. We need to think about why the same people, environment, culture, which possess the Kurdish/Alevi/ radical left combination, are so full of hatred.

Think about a government that actually carrying out the biggest reforms in the history of the Republic. Why does this mass attack the ruling party, which had taken steps in the Kurdish issue, Alevi expansion, human resources, regional economic policies, taken a risk in many others and made arrangements? What is the hatred behind burning schools, burning kinder-gardens, burning flags, killing a religious person by means of bashing his skull with a rock, setting someone’s body on fire? What kind of a psychology is this?

Who were the ones that burned the streets?

An individual may not support a ruling party politically, and can even be against it. An individual can talk against others or even make a show, unless he is inclined to creating violence, which means that he does have something to say. Alevi or Kurdish, Sunni or Turk, doesn’t really make a difference: the one that has an opinion will not require violence. Violence is helplessness. The only ones that approach violence are the ones without a word to speak. The people, that have been burning the streets for the past three days, are the ones who have nothing to say and the helpless, who had consumed the grudge. A person, who can burn a school, burn a flag, burn a library, scavenge and kill innocent people, cannot be the children of these lands or this culture. Can you tell me, when was the last time we heard of people scavenging a market or scavenging in Turkey? The source that these people had fed on intellectually, emotionally and culturally, is definitely not local. Though, only Turkey’s foes can act like this.

What if Demirtaş had been the President?

Selahattin Demirtaş is a name who had been a Presidential candidate. The party he administers is HDP, the responsible entity for all of this. In which country do political parties invite people to go out to the streets? What kind of a political understanding is this that it cannot give a strong reaction to the ravage of thousands of people and the deaths of around 30 people?

During the press conference in Diyarbakır, if you look at the people who are sitting next to Demirtaş, you could see on their face and in their expression that there is anger, hate and grudge.  Let me tell you the reason, this is the anger and hatred on the face of the Kurdish/Alevi/ radical left personnel, which had lost their rulership position and power with the resolution process.

HDP attempted to do the politics of hatred. They wanted to make politics via a minority segment, which had been on the streets and carry a grudge and hate the ruling party led by the state, religionists, and conservative people. However, only a mafia organization, a gang, will cause terror in the streets with crime machine people and hope for reaching politics from there. A political party cannot make the politics of hatred or administer it. We are officially talking about a political party who uses its street violence and people’s hatred as a blackmail tool. If Demirtaş had been elected as the President accidentally, think about what he would have done.

Did Demirtaş ask for weaponry for the PKK?

The unbelievable situation is this: Kobane is not Turkey’s land, the people living there are not Turkish citizens, the ones who are attacking there are not Turkish soldiers, we had opened our homes for 160,000 people who ran away, then what is Turkey’s fault that you had set our streets on fire and killed our citizens?

PYD had gone for cooperation with the murderer Assad, and had worked against Turkey. The PKK had terrorized Turkey via a route including Kobane, now Demirtaş asks Turkey to help PYD. What help? Turkey had already taken in all the civilians from Kobane; all their requirements had been met. What help is Demirtaş talking about? The only other option left is weaponry. It’s unbelievable, Demirtaş wants us to give weapons to PKK militants and call this a political party activity?

Politics of hatred is such a thing, that if you deal with hatred and grudges, you will lose your mind and transform into something else.
