Israel could turn into an open-air prison!

As expected, the killer Netanyahu announced that they would not recognize the verdict of the genocide case heard at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. This is not a challenge. Netanyahu actually declared, "The Hague cannot stop us," stating the obvious. We can see that Israel has embarked on a path from which it cannot turn back from the brutality it has been committing in Gaza for a hundred days. The Zionist mindset, which has been poisoned by power to the extent of confronting all of humanity for the past hundred days, is now disregarding the UN Genocide Convention it put forward and signed in 1948.

In a previous article, I expressed that the current world order has collapsed, and those who shape the order did not hesitate to make this decision when it comes to their own interests. However, it is a clear fact that the decisions taken by the rest of the world, not whether Israel complies with the verdict of the International Court of Justice, will establish a new order. Israel and the United States do not see this. They cannot see it. Because rulers afflicted with the disease of power poisoning can never see that they have "gone astray" and prepared their own disasters.

Those who underestimate South Africa's bringing Israel to trial for the genocide in Gaza are making a big mistake. Although the case heard in The Hague may seem "long and complicated" in the context of international law, countries that wish can sign very clear sanctions. I asked Attorney Cihat Gökdemir, the President of the Istanbul International Law Center (ICIL), who closely follows the trial of Israel in The Hague, about the possible effects of the genocide verdict that will come out of the court.

According to Cihat Gökdemir, in the current world order, there is no power that will stop Israel and put forward a political will against it, except for the USA: "First of all, international law, domestic law is not an effective way, because if a court decision is not followed, states enforce that decision within themselves with the police force. However, international law does not have a police or gendarmerie force to enforce a court decision. If you are not powerful as a country, you cannot enforce it. Only the USA can do this. This is why international law is called 'law of power.' Since the International Court of Justice is the direct judicial organ of the UN, the UN is obliged to implement the decision. But the UN also usually enforces such decisions with the US military power. In other words, even if the UN approves a decision against Israel from the International Court of Justice, finding military force that can be used against Israel is impossible."

However... Gökdemir points out a very important detail, stating that the historic decision that will come out of The Hague is legal, not political: "This situation should not create a sense of 'the decision of the International Court of Justice will be useless.' All of the decisions taken against Israel by the UN so far, which have not been implemented, were political decisions. For the first time, a legal decision against Israel will be made."

So, what will be the result of the legal decision, and what will it change against Israel? Attorney Cihat Gökdemir says that if a genocide decision comes out of The Hague, states can impose sanctions on Israel using the authority and power they receive from the UN. In other words, even if countries that wish cannot implement the legal decision with military measures, they can apply very harsh and effective sanctions against Israel.

I asked, "What could these sanctions be?" Cihat Gökdemir listed them as follows:

- They can close their airspace and ports.

- They may not accept Israeli passports.

- They can stop banking transactions.

- States can implement all these blockade and embargo methods "legally."

If a genocide decision comes out of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, countries such as Türkiye, Brazil, Spain, and Belgium, which have declared that Israel has committed genocide in the last hundred days, can put these legal sanctions into effect.

I asked if such a process was possible, and Gökdemir answered very clearly: "Of course. In a way, Israel may be subjected to the practice of turning 'Gaza' into an 'open-air prison,' which it has implemented on the people of Gaza. In this case, Israel can turn into an open-air prison for Jews."

Gökdemir's comments and analyses contain a wish, of course, but as an international lawyer, they also indicate a fair and conscientious end awaiting the 'beast intoxicated with brutality' Israel. Israel, as it kills Gaza, the people of Gaza are also killing death, and this scene gives great courage to the world. The world is biting Israel. It mocks Zionism.

Not only as a state but also on the 100th day we witnessed, those who underestimate the world, Israel, and its supporters' responsibility for committing genocide in Gaza are beginning to see that the process of 'isolation' as a 'community' has started. Therefore, the decision that will come out of The Hague may have historic results that will destroy the current world order. Those who keep courage, insight, conscience, and anger alive can overcome such responsibility.
