Dirty Scenario: ‘Voting for their own candidates in the first round and for Abdullah Gül in the second’

I believe that the scenario written by the minds behind the opposition is still going on.

Here is the scenario: “Everybody will vote for their own candidates in the first round and for Abdullah Gül in the second round!” And I do not believe that this is a local scenario at all. Upon seeing those who play out the scenario in accordance with foreign orders and prompts, I cannot help but asking “whether this is a man with a cause; whether this is patriotism; and whether this is politics with principles.”

Can the claim of a ‘joint candidate’ be a diversion?

Political engineers continue to play out their scenario in front of our eyes. Firstly, they asserted that “Gül will be the joint candidate.” Then, they started saying, “No, we will nominate our own candidate.” Especially after Akşener said that “I will not step down for Gül,” and Muharrem İnce after saying that “If Erdoğan and Gül compete with each other, I will vote for Erdoğan,” him announcing his candidacy is sort of an indicator that the second part of the scenario is in motion.

‘Gül will split the votes of AK Party and Akşener will split the CHP votes’

Let’s remember what the scenario is:

“Akşener and Gül will compete against Erdoğan in the first round. Thus, Akşener will split the votes of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Gül will split the votes of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party of the “Cumhur Ittifakı” (Public Alliance).

As a result, if Erdoğan receives 49.5 percent or even 50 percent of the votes, he will not be able to be elected in the first round.

Even if Akşener comes second, she will not participate in the second round; Gül will run against Erdoğan as the candidate of the opposition and he will become president. Erdoğan will be discharged." (24.04.2018 Yeni Şafak)

The missing point of this scenario was that there was no information about the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) going to participate in the first round with their own candidates.

They started to play the scenario at the beginning of the week.

However, they also provided arguments which would cover this scenario before the public. And they spread the belief that Abdullah Gül "would become the joint candidate.”

As of Wednesday, due to the rising reactions among the opposition parties and the position of the AK Party, they started spreading propaganda that “The formula of the joint candidate collapsed. Each party will participate in the elections with their own candidates.”

This is what the scenario is!

This is what they want!

This is exactly what will confuse people’s minds.

“The formula of the joint candidate” was tried before and it did not work.

The intelligence trying to move the elections to the second round is not native

This time it is seen that the only way to reach success for the opposition is to move the elections to the second round.

Then, we are not wrong to say that the second and critical part of the aforementioned scenario was started on Tuesday.

“If Akşener splits the votes of the MHP of and Gül splits the votes of AK Party which together form the public alliance… At the same time, if CHP and HDP consolidate their votes through their own candidates, the elections will move forward to the second round.” This is what they plan!

The fact that Akşener said “I will not step down in favor of Gül but I will be happy if Gül becomes a candidate” means that the scenario is revealed.

Again, the words of CHP’s Engin Altay saying, “Whoever runs for the second round that is our candidate” also reveal the scenario.

I think they will push with this scenario to the end. They will lay hands on the AK Party (or they might have already) and enter into every sort of dirty negotiation to move the elections to the second round.

They will try to look for ways to fortify the front which is formed through enmity against Erdoğan and so whoever comes second, he/she will support Abdullah Gül in the second round.

And Gül showed that he is open to every kind of negotiation as he was passionately applauding Uğur Dündar, one of the symbolic names of February 28, in the conference hall where he walked in arm in arm with Temel Karamollaoğlu.

Meanwhile, if we state here what Uğur Dündar had said about Abdullah Gül and his wife Hayrunnisa Gül, who will be ashamed?

As Gül was applauding Uğur Dündar…

The Felicity Party (SP) held an event titled “Erbakan Awards.” Together with Abdullah Gül, Uğur Dündar attended this event.

Dündar was given an award and Gül applauded him ebulliently!

As I was pondering on what this was, I found some answers for myself.

It seems that the enmity against Erdoğan has severely blinded them.

It seems that it was possible to walk hand in hand with figures who insult, humiliate and fight against you and the values you believe for the sake of overthrowing Erdoğan and bringing back the parliamentarian system which can be interfered in and was imposed upon us by big brothers.

It seems that another way of having constant emulation psychology for those who insult the values you believe is a “complex.”

When arrogance and complexness are put together and “order” is added, we can see those, who never come together, are under the same roof, for example.

You could applaud the one, who shot at the values you believed in and your reason for being, for example.

The final prime minister’s final trip

Together with the last Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yıldırım, we went to Spain’s capital Madrid.

On the way back, we had a chance to have a long conversation.

I would like to tell you another aspect of this nice conversation with Binali Yıldırım.

Binali Yıldırım will pass into history as the “final prime minister.”

Is he complaining about this? No. He says that “I am a soldier of the AK Party” and he adds that “Whatever is meant to be, we will live that.”

There is always “easiness” in his way of politics. Even during the most intense moments, he is prominent with his calmness. During our conversation, he was both very calm and quite emotional.

Knowing that he hosted us in his plane for the last time as the prime minister, he showed an interest in us individually. The “briefing” part of our meeting was over in 20 minutes but the conversation part was longer than half an hour.

Also, we had a very nice incident that we would tell our children and grandchildren about.

I saw prayer beads made of ebony tree in Binali Yıldırım’s hands. Pointing at the beads, I asked him if “they were new.” He turned and said, “Do you like it? Then, let it be my gift to you in memory of today,” and he gave me the beads.

When he realized the astonishment of other colleagues, he called his Deputy Executive Assistant Abdullah Eren and said “Bring the box. Let’s see who will get what.” Then, a box of beads was brought. All reporters who attended the trip received prayer beads from the last Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yıldırım.

When the conversation was over and it was time to say goodbye, he asked for our blessings one by one. When I was going back to my seat on the plane, I thought this: “If you would like to see a politician who put his signature under very significant works, synchronized his steps with his leader Erdoğan’s steps and fulfilled the requirements of being a prime minister and a man with a cause, you can look at Binali Yıldırım.”
