It's possible to prevent a deepening of the economic trauma

Inflation has risen to almost 20 percent. The dollar exchange rate has not settled. Turkey is under an economic attack, which may be a heavy bill for the public to pay during the upcoming fall and winter months.

Economy experts speak of these every day.

What is the solution, or what should we do?

Eventually, it will be us paying for the fluctuation in the economy. This is admitted, but it is not clear yet who will suffer to which extent.

According to some, the money of the big bosses is already in dollars, so they are well-off. According others, a deepening of the crisis will lead to the bankruptcy of the public, because almost all citizens have long-term loans (like mortgages, automobile loans).

On the other hand, some people are concerned that production will stop and unemployment will increase.

In the light of this data, each and every one of us has a responsibility: primarily to "save" and "avoid luxury consumption."

Turkey is not the Turkey of 2003. That's why there are no point in saying, "We have gone out of business, we are ruined."

On the contrary, it is time to live within our means. When we combine individual savings with public savings, we can close many budget deficits.

First of all, it is necessary to have will and determination.

It is certain that the savings of individuals who avoid luxury consumption and unnecessary expenditures will be of value.

To stay away from our luxuries and gains for a while is a personal and social obligation.

We are all obliged to assume our own share of responsibility in this regard.

Otherwise, we would turn this trauma into a deepened crisis, and all our gains would be washed away in a flash.

Now economically, it is time to grab the bull by the horns.

Our presence in northern Syria and the heavy price we are paying

Turkey has thrown a monkey wrench in the big plan in Syria. Thanks to the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch operations, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terror corridor was negated.

Of course, there would be a price to pay for such operations. The price to pay seems to be determined under the guise of pastor Branson. The Twitter messages of Trump, the "recent stance" of international economic organizations, are all designed to make us pay the said price.

I have written about it before: in the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation, they made us pay a price. They set the penalty. They attempted to discipline Turkey through famine and poverty.

However, with the deep state mind and the nation's consciousness these periods were overcome. And today Turkey has its presence in Cyprus, which has an undisputed strategic position in the Eastern Mediterranean, as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

If Turkey had not carried out the Cyprus Peace Operation and had not maintained its presence on the island, then it would have fallen off the map regarding the current power struggle in Eastern Mediterranean today.

The Cyprus example alone can explain why we are in Syria’s al-Bab and Afrin years later.

The value of our presence in Afrin and al-Bab will be understood in the years to come.

Today, even if we have to pay the price, it is a necessity for our future generations to live in safety.

No pain, no gain.

Is Turkey going to be in the final battle in Idlib?

Now, the "final battle" will take place in Syria. In Idlib, all the parties are amassing their forces. Turkey has more than 10 observation points in the region. Despite being declared a de-escalation zone, it is attacked by regime forces every day. At the same time, a large number of armed elements are there. Terrorist organizations are running wild in Idlib.

Under these circumstances, the final battle that will start in Idlib, where Turkey is one of the guarantors of the de-escalation zones, will surely involve us.

A source of mine reporting from field has informed me that "Turkey may be forced to enter into Idlib.

If an armed conflict starts in Idlib, a very risky and bloody process will start. During this process, Turkey may even enter Idlib to protect its military elements at the "observation points."

It is also possible to prevent armed elements from entering Turkey.

The case of who will prevent civilian losses and a great tragedy, and how they will do it, is ambivalent.

We are paying a price, and a heavy one at that.

We pay such a price partly to prevent civilian casualties.

The big final battle in Idlib will go down in history as the last link of the Syrian civil war.

Turkey may be forced to take initiative to ensure both its perpetuity, its territorial integrity and also to avoid civilian casualties.

We will closely follow the situation.
