The votes to get the HDP to pass the threshold are from the Felicity Party

Imagine a party which was elected into parliament on June 7, 2015 with 13 percent of the votes. The Justice and Development (AK) Party could not come to power alone. The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organization, which tried to turn the interim period into an opportunity, “dug trenches” exclaiming “serhildan” (Kurdish for “revolt”), declared so-called autonomy and attempted to shed blood. The same party assumed the role of the PKK’s voice. Furthermore, it made provocative statements such as, “The PKK controls 400 square kilometers in Şemdinli.”

The “Turkish left” that ensured their distinct place in parliament that day is setting up the same plan in a different manner today – by taking the Fetullah Terror Organization (FETÖ) by its side.

Those utilizing the same party today just so President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the AK Party lose are making plans to ensure the Peoples’ Democracy Party (HDP) passes the threshold with “conservative” votes. The head of the flock is main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaoğlu.

‘There is no such thing as experiencing death’

To whose score will the votes given to the Felicity Party (SP) provide +1 added value? I find the right to ask this question two days ahead of the election.

Yesterday, Hayrettin Karaman penned a significant article for Yeni Şafak titled, “Ölümün tecrübesi olmaz” (There is no such thing as experiencing death).

Karaman says:

“(…) So what?

This government has become spoiled, it lost its spirituality, public interest is harmed because of the flies among them, and mistakes are being made…

Let us assume these are partially correct evaluations.

Does the leadership and real cadre of this movement not continue to maintain the quality of being beneficial?

I think they do.

Aren’t the material and spiritual gains continuing?

Everybody knows they are.

(…) While this is what the real picture looks like, continuing to put forth heedlessness and wrong plans that may lead to results similar to betrayal, or even the likelihood of losing the gains that are the product of great efforts by people who love and think about their nation, could leave our good people sleepless and lead them to deep concerns.

Death cannot be experienced and there is no use crying over spilled milk.”

Votes for the Felicity Party will help HDP meet the threshold with CHP’s skills

Recently, an unfathomable rush of criticism aimed at Erdoğan and the AK Party under the name of “conservatism” was initiated. The majority of those making these criticisms were once close to Erdoğan but were dismissed because of their deficiencies and ambitions. They are raging with the fury of that dismissal. (Everyone knows why they are really criticizing Erdoğan, but for some reason, nobody talks about it. I will say it: These people pertly and ambitiously pursued their personal futures while they were close to the ruling government. They are the greedy ones who prevented new cadres from being raised as they took advantage of the climate around them.)

Part of the criticisms come from those who are completely politically jealous and are in competition.

And, as a result of those criticisms, they want to punish Erdoğan and the AK Party by giving their votes to the SP, which is supposedly a conservative party.

If it works, that is!

Yet, the greatest partner in the Nation’s Alliance, which also includes the SP, is the CHP. In a statement CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu made before the alliances were established, he said, “The alliance will provide us with an extra 80 deputies.”

In other words, one vote cast for the SP does not go to the SP alone. As a matter of fact, it adds nothing to the SP. On the contrary, it benefits the CHP, which is the biggest partner of the alliance.

The great trap Kılıçdaroğlu set for the Felicity Party

The second matter is that there is a “clique” that has recently taken control over the CHP under Kılıçdaroğlu saying, “Give your votes to the HDP.” So, some CHP supporters are going to use their votes to ensure the HDP passes the threshold. It was already revealed that Kılıçdaroğlu instructed the Istanbul wing of the CHP, in particular, to “work in coordination with the HDP.”

So, won’t this decrease the number of the CHP’s votes and deputies?

Bingo!

What was Kılıçdaroğlu’s plan? Hadn’t he said, “The alliance will provide us with an extra 80 deputies”?

Kılıçdaroğlu calculates that every vote cast for the SP will turn around and be written on the CHP’s scoreboard, so he knows there won’t be a significant loss. Moreover, he plans to protect his own number of deputies with the votes to come from there and ensure the HDP passes the threshold by the hand of a clique. The CHP’s presidential candidate Muharrem İnce has no chance of winning anyway! So a few birds with one stone.

It is a major political engineering job.

If it works, that is!

Is there a chance of it working? Yes, there is.

‘Because of the brainless among us’

“It might work because of the brainless among us.” Because the CHP is the biggest partner of the Nation’s Alliance and any vote cast for the SP and the İyi (Good) Party will turn around and come back to be written on the CHP’s scoreboard. Hence, the CHP will maintain its number of deputies in parliament, ensure the HDP passes the threshold and thus, reduce the AK Party to the opposition.

It is not hard to see this game. But to see it, one would need to overcome ambition, jealousy and the feeling to avenge unrightfully.

Those who want to extract revenge from Erdoğan by putting a retired president back on the field are blinded.

Alas!

They are unable to see the plan of Kılıçdaroğlu, who is trying to ensure HDP passes the threshold by using the Felicity Party.

What can we say? “My Lord, will You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done?” (Quran 7:155)
