A ‘founder’ and a great cause in TÜSİAD

We are not making any epic show when we say a new Turkey is being founded.

We are not talking in vain when we say “World War I has just ended” and that a great chance awaits Turkey for breaking this century-old tutelage at this historical momentum where the world is being reshaped.

There will no longer be a Turkey that is restricted to national borders, and confined to using its energy only internally. When we mean a new agreement of foundation or demand a new social agreement, we are not just speaking with plain words.

We are not daydreaming or becoming adventurous when pointing out the normalization of Turkey, the shaping of its politics in its own cultural landscape, reanimation of its historical memory and the calculation of its future with its current will.

We are not pursuing any ideological clash or ambition. We believe in our country and people. We remember the concept of fatherland once again and we are re-discovering to trust in our people and realize a century old plot was set against us. We know that the bad fortune of the geography and what is being imposed on Turkey comes from the same source, and yet we are making self criticism, questioning our deficiencies.

We have already gotten over two coup attempts

No matter what kind of thought or political front or cultural environment you belong to, if you are not aware of these new facts of Turkey, you will simply miss out on time. You will lose the reality, become marginalized and will be drifted aside from this great march.  You won’t be able to go beyond single day concerns.

Those who underestimate and scorn this perspective don’t even need to wait to see what will happen to them in the future. The developments in the last two years presented a good lesson for them already. All the intentions or intervensions to sabotage this great project failed

The collaborative campaigns led from Turkey or outside ended so awfully that it only left behind evil.

The Gezi incident was an intervention in this march through the street terror. It was funded outside Turkey, organized outside and commanded outside.  In İstanbul and many cities of Anatolia, we saw embarrassing pictures. They were planning to capture the Prime Minister, arrest him and there was going to be a coup. Because of the street terror, its regime was going to be changed. The right of speech for the Turkish society on the state authority was going to be annuled.

Those, who modify the intelligence operation through certain marginal political circles and organizations, planned to estaliblish a media leg, or perception operation. The woman in the red, the guy playing the piano, the people with masks on their face, spoilt girls and and the project to overthrow the government through the trees was a Ukraine scenario that was imposed on Turkey. Even though they see the fate of Ukraine, which lost Crimea and is being dragged into a big chaos, it’s truly evil that they are still shamelessly advocating this kind of situation.

Turkey, which was swiftly making progress, was tripped but it did not stumble .

The Pro-Tutelage made a mistake.

When things did not work out, they discovered a conservative staff. They were already collaborating with this circle; they gave them another task.  They were going to arrest the Prime Minister through previously prepared and fabricated files and would have gathered the government members in indoor sport halls and judged them there. After that, they would have imprisoned them.   According to this scenario,  all who carried the belief of a great Turkey was a target and had to be cleansed. Politicians, businessmen, bureaucrats, journalists and community leaders were going to be pushed aside from the stage forever. They planned a pitiful and grave life for them.

Gezi was much more grave and expensive and a much more enduring project than Ukraine. They were going to reformat Turkey based on the 20th century conditions, that is, the tutelage system was going to be revized and reinforced, and the nation would not have even be allowed to raise its head. The secret name for this movie was the Mursi scenario.

In my opinion, it was the most wearisome interventions throughout the history of Turkey.

However, the pro-tutelage did make a miscalculation and accordingly so. Turkey is not Egypt or Ukraine. The old world no longer exists, nor does the old Turkey. Despite arranging some generals, a few businessmen or media groups, economic crisis projects and mass manipulations, it was not helpful.

Turkey, which had already overcome these two coups, proved its capacity. The old Turkey turned to a new blank page after coming to nothing with these two crises. After that, he also pointed out how with similar scenarios. It wouldn’t stumble but still stood firmly on my feet.

Stop dreaming about Baathist marginal regime.

After all that has happened, it is impossible that Turkey will go back to its old Baathist days or be confined to its national boundaries.  It is impossible to exhaust it, because of fragility and it is impossible to put it in order, too.

It is impossible to see Turkey as meerly a front counry to which a certain role is imposed, or is punished because of derailing from the commandments or sacrifice it for internal conflicts scenarios.   It is impossible to sacrifice the country for internal conflicts or educate it through western media or from some power points.

Turkey has outgrown a small number of powers ruling the country or a minority ruling regime.  We won’t turn back to those days.   For this reason, there will be a severe resistent for those who are struggling for their old habits and their outside collaborators. This country will never be taken hostage again.

The era for “minority republican” has ended. The people of Turkey have executed their national right.  This is what we call “new Turkey”. Turkey is a central region and that it connotates its own past today and its networking of new relationships from the viewpoints of geography and the world.

That means a new salvation.

What did Erdoğan tell TÜSİAD!

The republic which was established after the Ottomans will surely turn into an independent one. The number of those who do not believe in this change will increase and in time they will have to submit to the new form of the world and Turkey.

Yesterday, the President, Tayyip Erdoğan, gave a speech at the Turkish Industrialists

' and

Businessmen's Association or TÜSİAD board of consultants. I personally checked his speech very carefully and paid attentions to the words he used. There was no Erdoğan there. There was only a homeland, a good country, a man of cause there. This was actually a telltale sign of the principles of the cause. It was describing a picture which was the new project of Turkey. At a face value, he was referring to each mistake that was done and making a call saying “the time is not to squeeze our punches but shake them off”.

Keep in mind that this challenge is not against the nation nor Turkey, but everyone who cannot digest the idea of Turkey’s development. We will be supporting these words until the end, because these words, glances, pursuits are the target party, not a narrow political discourse. This is a Turkey project.

There is a “founding man”; whether you accept it or not and whether you want it or not. He is going to be the most mentioned person in our deep, political history. He signifies the end of World War 1 and the new birth of Turkey.

This is our common project and struggle.
