‘Let’s down another Russian jet, seek refuge in the US!’: FETÖ tried this, so who’s doing it now? ‘We’re going to strike the regime everywhere’: Turkey won’t defend itself at the diplomacy table but on the battlefield. US-Russia, Iran-Saudi Arabia are plotting against Turkey, hand in hand. This country's only guiding principle is the 'Turkey axis.' Get this into your heads already!

Tensions are running high between Russia and Turkey due to the situation in Idlib. The U.S., U.K. and Israeli influence lobbies immediately took action. They almost reached the point of saying, “Let us down another Russian jet and go to war with Russia.” If you recall, the U.S. and Israel tried this through the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) prior to the July 15, 2016 coup attempt.

They brought Russia and Turkey to the brink of war. Later, it was revealed that the real aim was to break out a Turkey-Russia war not a Syrian war, and that as soon as this war started a Western invasion would be launched for Turkey, a FETÖ state would be established, and that agreements were made in this direction.

Who is the US, UK provoking!

The U.S. and the U.K. are similarly backing this choir these days with successive statements concerning the Turkey-Russia crisis. The project must still be on the table, and it is now being implemented through other groups instead of FETÖ, groups that particularly appear to be conservative.

Setting everything into place, determining them correctly, taking position accordingly is important. Submitting to the agenda of others has always made us pay heavy prices. The Syrian war was also thus broken out by others and left in Turkey’s lap. Those, who, back then, formed a public opinion for war, later buried themselves in silence when Turkey ran into trouble.

The current situation is this:

The Idlib issue is a matter of a “final asylum” for the millions of Sunni Arabs excluded by the regime in Syria. A “de-escalation zone” was declared between Turkey and Russia, and approved by Iran and the Damascus regime, and finally millions of people’s safety was secured.

Why can’t Russia, Iran say a single word to the PKK, US? Why is Iran silent in the face of Israel?

Russia and Iran must have thought the regime’s power increased that they now want Turkey to pull out of that region – and it is doing this through the “integration of Syria” discourse. As it does this, it does not say a single word about the U.S. and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) that are occupying one-third of the country.

Neither Russia, Iran, nor the regime are speaking up about the U.S.-PKK invasion. These countries, particularly Iran, cannot even say a word about Israel’s attacks on Damascus.

Which Syria are we talking about? The country of a sectarian minority? Where is the country that belongs to millions of Sunni Arabs?

But which Syria’s integrity? Who is Syrian? A sectarian minority approved by the Damascus regime? What about the millions of people who have been exiled, the millions of people who have taken shelter in Idlib, the millions of people protected in Turkey?

Where is their Syria? The Damascus regime is a minority government and the vast majority of the country does not recognize it. Hence, which Syria’s integrity are Russia and Iran talking about?

In the latest attacks targeting Idlib, in the attacks on Turkish troops, Iran is as guilty as Russia. As a matter of fact, a significant portion of those conducting the attacks received instructions from Iran, from Iran’s extensions in Syria. It is now a fact that these two countries accepted the Astana and Sochi deals in aims to buy some time for the regime and distract Turkey.

The U.S. is another country that made a promise to Turkey and made many deals to buy time for the PKK – yet it did not adhere to any of them. Now, Russia is using the same tactic. This is nothing but mocking Turkey.

We will strike the regime everywhere: Turkey’s right to self-defense is not a “matter of negotiation”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s statement, “If there is a new attack, we will strike the regime anywhere,” shows that the Syrian war has been “redefined.” Of course the political process with Russia is fundamental, of course communication with the U.S. is central, but the Syrian war is now Turkey’s war.

To put is openly: The Syrian war was launched for Turkey. It was launched as a part of their plans aimed at “downsizing” Turkey. The “terror corridor” that was extended from the Iranian border to the Mediterranean, and which the U.S. supplied with thousands of truckloads of ammunition, was planned and implemented to build an “anti-Turkey front.”

Operation Euphrates Shield, the Afrin Operation and Operation Peace Spring were all launched purely to defend Turkey, to protect Anatolia. Turkey’s right to self-defense is never – and will never be – open to negotiation.

The plan is to siege Turkey from Syria, from East Mediterranean, from Aegean, from the Black Sea. We will not downsize!

Neither the U.S. nor Russia should consider Turkey’s search for a political solution as a weakness. The era of Turkey going back and forth between the U.S. and Russia or another power or powers to produce and carry out policies, to exist are long over.

All the power maps of the world have changed. All of Turkey’s power quests, its perception of the region and the world have all changed. We are face to face with a new situation. We are either going to continue maintain our existence through growth or survive by downsizing.

This country has never, in any stage of its history, preferred to “exist through downsizing.” All the plans today to siege Turkey from Syria, the East Mediterranean, the Aegean and the Black Sea have been shaped with the objective to downsize Turkey. All the scenarios that have been and are being carried out through the PKK, through FETÖ, and the political front established within are based on this objective.

Those seeing through the lens of the US, Russia, Iran and Saudi Arabia

Hence, Turkey is building defense lines against these “downsizing” plans much beyond the zero point of its border.

It is all too simple for those looking from the lens of their own small areas, from tight fronts, from the sectarian-religious movement perspective, from the U.S. and Russia’s angle, through Iran and Saudi Arabia’s eyes. It’s easy to criticize from afar. These groups’ narrow horizons have also played a part in the problems Turkey is tackling.

Those mind-boggling partnerships. They’re all a single front against Turkey. U.S.-Russia, Iran-Saudi Arabia hand in hand

Allow me to present such a map. Let us take a look at the sides everyone is on.

Turkey:

Faces Iran in Aleppo; it faces Iran everywhere in Syria.

Faces Russia is Idlib; it faces Russia in the entire northern region of Syria, and in Libya too.

Faces Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) across the whole of Syria, and it faces Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE in Libya.

Faces the U.S. through the PKK and FETÖ terrorists groups, and Israel , not just in Libya, but across the whole region.

Faces the U.S., France, Russia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Israel in Libya.

And now it faces Iran, the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Bashar Assad regime, and Russia in Idlib.

Thus, Turkey is carrying on a great fight with all these countries’ areas of influence within.

We didn’t start any of these fights. These are plans to stop a history-making country

Turkey was not the one that started any of these showdowns. Turkey did not ask for any of it. These are all part of a grand plan to “stop Turkey.” Because they saw that Turkey will change history, change the region.

All of these countries struck deals with each another in the Mediterranean. They all established partnerships in a myriad of projects. The sole characteristic of all those partnership deals had one unwavering condition: to keep Turkey out.

So, which map, which power struggle, which new world are you looking at?

So, how do countries that have so many fights among them, who are at each other’s throats in so many regions come together when the matter is Turkey?

So, how do the U.S. and Russia’s Turkey policies overlap while they are acting completely contrary in Syria?

So, how is it that while Iran is fighting with Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the whole region they can become a single front and form solidarity when Turkey is in question?

Turkey’s only guiding principle is the ‘Turkey axis.’ Accept this already!

The shrewd that are saying, “We are at odds with Russia, let us run at once to the U.S.-Israel axis,” have a different plan. Before them, it was FETÖ that did this. Now, in the void left by them, the crypto FETÖ, the deep U.S. lobby has taken action.

Turkey is no country’s tool, front, outpost or means to settle accounts among themselves. Some view the events through the U.S. perspective, some through Russia’s perspective, some speak on behalf of Iran, and some speak on behalf of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

It is such perspectives that bring the most harm to this country.

Yet, Turkey’s sole destination is itself, the “Turkey axis.” This is they way it is now. You can understand only if you look through this perspective alone. Otherwise, you will have no other chance but to be the instrument of others’ plans.
