Tanks will be beating at the Kaaba's door

Why did Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif postpone his Turkey visit? I don't believe the schedules not lining up is the reason underlying Zarif's decision to postpone, as he had extensive public opinion research carried out in Turkey ahead of the visit.

The recent dangerously deepening rift between the two countries over Syria, broadcasts targeting Turkey, and in fact, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his family in Iranian media, Iran's messages of support to the PKK during the latest terror attacks, and Iran, following the nuclear deal, acting as though it is the only one in control of the region extending from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea, may have been a real breaking point in ties.

A quick note: The current PKK attacks are predominantly taking place in Turkey's northeast in a way that it will form a corridor toward the Black Sea. It was the same in 2005. The PKK was trying to open a kind of Black Sea corridor.

The north Syria and Black Sea corridors

I believe there is a connection between the north Syria corridor and the Black Sea corridor that has alarmed Turkey. There are plans to reach the Mediterranean on one hand and reaching the Black Sea on the other. One of the objectives of Tehran's coup attempt in Yemen to surround Saudi Arabia was an attempt to expand to the Red Sea. What kind of a connection could there be between he interesting merging of the PKK and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) with Tehran and these corridor matters? Has Iran been using Kurdish organizations as a Trojan horse against the region? I want to point out Tehran's convergence with the pro-coup tradition within Turkey right at this point in time.

There are no level-headed analyses written in Turkey on the regional impacts of the geopolitical showdown over Syria and the nuclear deal between Iran and the West. I have been drawing particular attention to this matter for a while now. A map of Iran's expansion is becoming clear. The infrastructure of a great crisis between the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean and the Red Sea is in process. Now, the Black Sea is also re-added to this.

Iran's greed and the Mecca War

This plan is not restricted to Iran alone. International will is trying to shape a new regional map. It is doing this through sectarian identity, which is big enough to cause regional destruction. The organizations in Syria and Iraq and both the Iranian and Kurdish identity have been mobilized effectively to this end. I, too, believe that this great map project is the basis of the West-Iran deal.

Personally, the scale of this crisis frightens me. This development is something that should frighten anybody with a careful eye, every country, every ethnic and sectarian group in this region. If we continue to be blind, we are going to be faced with a Mecca War and see tanks beating down the doors of the House of Allah.

Hence, this great crisis, which is planned through sectarianism, served through organizations and carried out through the stupidity and greed of certain bigoted countries in the region, targets Turkey, which is the only country to take a "leveling" position. There is a desire to design internal affairs in accordance with this crisis. Terrorist organizations are being mobilized for this purpose. Such organizations are uniting against Turkey under a single roof.

Inside 'intruders' in on this project

All this is being carried out in coordination with the "inside intrusion" mechanisms. There is a desire to sabotage Turkey's national and liberal stance. There is serious mobilization toward the public opinion and masses are being influenced. The groundwork is being laid for new regional surprises.

The term "betrayal," for the first time, may be expressing such a plain and true meaning for those who are taking position against their own country in the face of a chaos investment that is complex, destructive and regional. Therefore, take a good look at who stands where and the type of partnerships they make and with whom they make them.

Pay close attention to the authors and their words. Pay close attention to media outlets and their capital circles. All those who are trying to become involved in internal affairs from the outside and want to form a new political tutelage are part of this grand project. Turkey is under real threat; they want to bring the region's only liberal and most powerful country down to its knees. Take note also that within the next two years, Turkey is going to be in a complete state of vigilance. Let's get back to Iran and the region.

Tehran's 'three seas' war

Tehran is planning a serious geopolitical map aimed at expanding in three seas at once. Iraq is under its complete control. The Persian Gulf is under its control. And through Lebanon, so is the Mediterranean. As it expands into the Red Sea through Yemen, it is trying to break Saudi Arabia's resistance. The nuclear deal strengthened Iran's hand. It caused it to impact the region. With great self-confidence, ambition, conceit and greed, it started to step in everywhere.

It seems as though it is doing all this through its sectarian demographic, yet its psychological infrastructure is based on Persian nationalism. This is because the Arab-Persian war that has been ongoing since the Gulf War always ended with Iran's victory.

The Arab-Persian border used to be the Iran-Iraq border. With the Iraq occupation, it was extended to the Iraq-Syria border. Syria tried to stop this border, but Iran entered Syria with its entire military force. Today, thousands of Iranian soldiers are working to keep Syria under control. Iran seems to have conditioned itself to push the border all the way into the Mediterranean and Saudi Arabia.

Iran may attack Saudi Arabia and Iraq may attack Kuwait

The next step after this is the Persian Gulf. Take note, the time may come when Iran attacks Saudi Arabia and Iraq could attack Kuwait. I personally think that within two years, the countries in the Persian Gulf will fall into grave chaos. There is already a serious sectarian crisis and all these countries are under the intense Iran threat. A while later, Tehran will directly step into these countries.

Saudi Arabia, which is currently fighting Iran in Yemen and struggling to avoid being surrounded by them, will be forced to deal with the East front, while all this is happening in the Persian Gulf. It will further be dragged into instability through its own Shiite community. Let the Riyadh administration continue to try and wipe out the Muslim Brotherhood from the map; it will pay dearly for being so strategically blind.

A more in-depth explanation of all this is: Using sectarian identity, the entire region is being divided into two large groups. Those who used the "Islam's bloody borders" discourse during the Cold War era have been repeating for the last decade that "Islam will fight within itself," that war will be set into the heart of Islam. This is becoming a reality. This is the main reason why I keep warning about the Mecca War; don't even think for a moment that this is not possible.

Hand in hand with anti-Turkey terrorist organizations

So don't judge me for using terms such as "Iran's Crusades" and "the new Mecca War." The entire region is face-to-face with an incredible wave of nationalism under the guise of sectarianism. Tehran, which has found itself room under the grand project aimed at reshaping the geography and turned this into an opportunity, is going to have to pass a tough test in the face of its own desires.

It shouldn't be forgotten that Iran has its own serious problems and weaknesses. Perhaps it is more ethnically-fragile than Turkey. One day, the threats it imposes on the region may turn on it, yielding exactly the opposite results.

I am not talking about the Shiite-Sunni differentiation. I am trying to paint the picture that is about to happen in the region and draw attention to the dangers we will be facing in the upcoming couple of years. Iran's attitude toward Turkey in recent days is a serious cause of uneasiness. A country that is dealing with so many fronts opening itself a new front, disturbing Turkey in all aspects while doing this, flirting with terrorist organizations, and it's attempts to broadcast anti-Turkey news to the public opinion does not seem very normal.

Shiite Iran out, Persian Iran in, let the craziness begin

However, Iran's primary target is the Persian Gulf and Saudi Arabia. Tehran is in a Mecca-focused, Saudi Arabia-focused, Persian gulf-focused frenzy. Even though it may use its sectarian identity while it does this, it will actually mobilize the wave of nationalism. Because with the Iran-West deal, Shiite Iran was replaced by Persian Iran.

The dangerous adventure this new imperial desire will embark on will shake the entire region. The waves caused by this empire plan are even impacting Turkey's borders. This desire needs to be taken under control before it is too late, before the tanks beat at the Kaaba's doors, before the crisis that started in the Persian Gulf turns into the Mecca War.
