Military coups, coup attempts, a wave of terror, the attempt by organizations to replace states, civil conflicts, sect/identity-based divisions, and the intellectual terrorism which conducts the sale of these, as well as the death penalties announced in Egypt to the world the other day, all make up the greatest war started against the great transformation of the region since World War I.
These actions are the scenarios planned to turn the 21st century into a century of catastrophe for the people of Turkey and neighboring countries which had come to terms with the 20th century. A veritable war of the worlds is being waged to prevent the independent existence of any country, nation or society, to prevent them from standing up on their own, embracing the sense of prosperity and justice, and to prevent people from dreaming about the future.
A settlement is taking place in accordance with the political history, cultural identity, religious belonging and historical power struggle rather than on the merits of friendly or enemy nations. Each country which had been invaded in the past twenty years was invaded because of this. Countries which were pushed into civil war were dragged into chaos because of this. Almost each organization has been established, trained and sent to the front lines with this purpose in mind. Instead of the ethnic conflicts of the 20th century, the sect-based conflicts were amplified with this purpose.
Every person, institution, circle, organization or community who took part in all of these destructions, invasions, coups and coup attempts are a bullet fired against the region as a whole. Each coup leader who wages wars against waves of freedom, takes countries back to the old dictatorship periods, and wins tenders of oppression are all hit men. Each state administration or leader who hid under these regional occupation projects, plots insidious plans, and strengthens themselves through blood and pain are symbols of evil as much as those hit men.
Everyone and every structure who tries to take a share, win a tender, obtain personal power, seek potency, or become richer, or try to win congregational or organizational strength from this doomsday scenario, and those who put their souls, honor and identity with this purpose, exploit Islamic values for this despicable dirty trade, and serve the intelligence circles which turn the region into ruins are all traitors.
We have seen such vile examples and people many times since the period of the Seljuks to the Ottomans and from World War I to the Turkish Republic. They were recorded in history with their treasons, evil deeds and damnations. Today, that temper and mindset continue the same way. Those unidentified and characterless traitors are all around us, you see them.
They fight against their own countries. They fight against their nations, history, religion and cultures. Like the “Gurkhas” of the 21st century, some fight through weapons, some through the power of the media, some through their organizational opportunities, and some through instigation and malice operations, while some fight through intellectual terrorism methods to bring disaster to this geographical area, this country and the societies which have suffered for a century.
Israel, with the U.S. and the European countries, planned the military coup in Egypt. They overthrew the only opposition movement which had respect for democratic values and which was the most extensive from Sudan to Syria, in its own homeland. They let down the first democratic elections in Egypt which has a history of thousands of years and delivered a heavy blow to the country's independence struggle. This coup is the greatest war against the people of Egypt. It is the occupation of the country by the hands of pro-tutelage circles.
Similar to the Hosni Mubarak era, the Egyptian intelligence immediately went under the influence of Israel following the coup. The Junta started to act in line with the priorities of Israel in many issues including domestic security and regional policies. The country was completely conceded to Israel and the powers behind it. Can an occupation be any greater than this?
The preambles of the death sentences have been prepared in accordance with Israel's priorities. Whoever bothers Israel is punished by execution and imprisonment. Egypt's state mind is being administered from Tel Aviv and European capitals. I believe that the execution list for those who were given death sentences has also been prepared by this mind.
A step ahead of this situation will entail destabilization of Egypt (starting from the Sinai) and the push for disintegration in further stages. Instability and division scenarios always require oppressive rulers. With time, you will see that the establishment of a junta in Cairo through putting an end to democracy is the starting point of division scenarios in all North African countries.
If you pay attention, you will see that the justifications for the death sentences handed down for Muhammed Morsi and his friends are almost the same as the justifications for the December 17 coup attempt. They both contain the same rhetoric, same accusations and judgment style. Those who gave the coup tender to Sisi are the same powers who gave the tender to December 17 coup perpetrators in Turkey. You saw how some people rejoiced in Turkey when the death sentences were announced.
You saw the same language, approach, and rejoice in the parallel circles which got the December 17 tender and the circles which are registered for decades for their pro-coup stance. The same way coup supporters eliminated the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the coup supporters in Turkey would also fill prisons with all congregations outside of their own, and those who supported the AK Party government, and most probably bring back the death penalty in Turkey.
They would establish the courts in Cairo in Ankara and carry out waves of fraudulent trials and hand down death sentences. The judicial team was all set. The operation teams were all set. How the junta regime would be formed and who would take part in it was all pre-determined. Lists were ready. The post-coup Turkey scenario was ready.
The coup scenario served to Sisi in Egypt was given to the Fethullah Gülen group in Turkey. Here, too, the lists were prepared in line with the priorities of Israeli intelligence. Those to be imprisoned, eliminated, and perhaps destroyed were all prepared by them. “That country in the South,” which they love dearly and don't let anybody speak ill of it had also prepared execution lists in Turkey, similar to the ones in Egypt, and planned a new Turkey design with their partners in the U.S.
This country has escaped a great danger. Perhaps it wouldn't have been able to recover itself for a hundred years; its knees would have broken, it would have been offended and it would have bowed its head. With Turkey, the region as a whole would be buried under great despair. Because the hope was Turkey. Turkey was the enthusiasm, rhetoric and stance. The cadres, pioneers and masses which carried the country, nation and state forward to a new century were all in Turkey and these had to be destroyed.
But they failed, and they will not be able to do it. Only the Turkey project failed amongst the destruction projects directed towards the region. This country resisted, did not give in and fought out of spite, realized the plot and openly challenged this plot. They will never succeed after this stage. Because Turkey has passed that line which would allow them to win. This nation brought down the new World War I imposed upon it.
Turkey will always resist, strengthen itself and will never give up. Those who mobilize the opportunities to hinder this historical enthusiasm and walk today will be left with their shame. Those who are inspired by Egypt and imply about executions in Turkey will only sink further.
Thousands of people at the Justice and Development Party's (AK Party) rally in the Maltepe district of Istanbul are all people of this stance. They are the people of this rhetoric, search, and the excitement for the great Turkey. Not only did they embrace a party coming to power, but they also embraced a project for Turkey. This enthusiasm and conscience made its way to all corners of Anatolia and Turkey through waves. This wave is a historical breaking point. It is the rise of Anatolia after a century. It is the hope for the region as a whole.
This is precisely why what we are currently witnessing is the “Last War of Independence.”
