The “VIP Wiretapping” case in Turkey reached a verdict yesterday and 131 suspects, including Ali Fuat Yılmazer and Ramazan Akyürek, were handed down prison sentences between approximately four and 45 years.

This organization, known as the Fetullah Terrorist Organization’s (FETÖ) intel staff, which wiretapped numerous politicians, journalists, businessmen and actors, was in fact subcontractors of U.S. and Israeli intelligence in Turkey.

We were their victims. They would have files prepared, keep wiretapping records and have probes launched against us. Records concerning me included “talks/dialogues” with people whom I never knew.

What would a person speak about with someone they do not know? Such a conversation had actually never happened. In addition to this, even a foundation university’s student employee who had invited me to a conference was included in the file.

They were making up dialogues between random people, whomever they wanted to be declared as a traitor, agent or terrorist. All the figures U.S. and Israeli intelligence are perturbed by in this country are on that list, case files and investigation files.

They are given lists by these organizations and they thus did what was necessary. All the victims were figures presented as threats to the U.S. and Israel’s national interests.

Do not pay attention to the numerous journalists, politicians and businessmen who were in close relations with those sentenced yesterday being anti-FETÖ these days; they will start attacking Turkey from the front at the first opportunity they get. Hence, activities, formations, joint discourses, solidarity in this direction have started to be felt clearly for some time now.

For a few days now, we have been publishing sections from CIA agent Enver Altaylı’s indictment. Altaylı’s relationship with FETÖ, the perpetrator of the July 15 coup attempt in Turkey, the letters he wrote to FETÖ leader Fetullah Gülen, telephone conversations, the reports he prepared clearly prove that there is another FETÖ organization and it has recently been unleashed on the ground.

Efforts to siege, corner and stop Turkey are ongoing with new political alliances and formations within, and puppet-like leaders such as Mohammed bin Zayed and Mohammed bin Salman abroad.

Those native agents are opposing whatever is in Turkey’s interest. Therefore, it is against the same things that FETÖ, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the U.S., Israel, and the two Arab crown princes are against.

They never sided with Turkey in any of the interventions from the north of Syria, to the fight in Libya, and the Mediterranean. They did not and cannot. These criteria alone are enough to de-mask them.

Of course, those who ask, “Are all of these FETÖ supporters?” are right in their question. FETÖ is not limited to a single organization. One of those who was assigned the “task” is only the “prime contractor” in Turkey.

Everybody who had their hopes pinned on the July 15, 2016 coup attempt left President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s side. They not only distanced themselves from him but also became his enemy. What is more, everybody who had expectations about July 15, who took covert position accordingly have, in a sense, anchored to an anti-Turkey position today.

In every field, from the economy to foreign politics, from Turkey’s regional politics to its military operations, they are standing in an anti-Turkey position. When carefully considered, it is obvious who is in which picture frame.

Had the July 15 coup attempt been successful, Turkey would have been completely ousted from the political equation in the region’s future. When this failed, a different method was implemented; the “fair concerns” within the country were used as a cover for the preparation of a new psychological atmosphere. All these efforts were part of the July 15 project.

Just as the Ottoman Empire was destroyed in World War I, the same scenario was implemented on July 15. Turkey was going to be destroyed a second time. This was not a coup attempt but a multinational attack.

Those who realized Turkey would be walking its own path as it approaches the centenary of the proclamation of the Republic in 2023 had directly stepped in. It was not only FETÖ on the inside; it had other partners too. These days, those “partners” have started to reveal themselves. All tutelage groups have been activated. This is what is happening today.

July 15 and the Gezi Park events, July 15 and the course of the fight against the PKK and terrorism, July 15 and the map operation in northern Syria, July 15 and Libya and the two Arab crown princes’ fights against Turkey are all related. As a matter of fact, they are a single package.

Turkey has responded to all these – and continues to do so – since the Seljuks, with the same fight it put up for centuries. Erdoğan has been declared the “enemy” because he is a symbolic name in this fight, because he paved the way.

Let us draw attention on the occasion of the verdict of the VIP Wiretapping Case’s U.S. and Israeli intelligence gang case: the goal that was targeted July 15 not over. The fact is, simply a different method is being adopted this time. They are now activating the substitutes. Partners other than FETÖ are taking the stage.
