What is ISIL? Is the organization a catalyst for regional war?

There is serious confusion regarding the ISIL matter all around the world, not only in Turkey. What is this organization, how did they become so strong in a short time and why can’t anybody stand against it?

To be honest, this confusion includes our politicians and journalists, including me.

Iran is experiencing an outstanding information war via Kurdish and Western sources, and thus a public opinion is being formed. Everyone is taking a position within this information pollution, but nobody knows anything other than ISIL at the front. Who is behind this power, how is it being managed, what is being planned, how can they follow a successful military strategy?

Because this is an organization strategy, not a planning.

Leaving us aside, countries are designating new positions via ISIL, and regional alliances and fronts are being shaped via an organization. A coalition is being formed and plans for an operation, which will be effective throughout the region, is being made.

Doesn’t it seem weird to you? Isn’t it a little weird for the whole world to mobilize and take new positions because of an organization?

Is Saudi Arabia playing both sides?

The Russia-Iran axis is putting forth the thesis that ISIL is a USA-England creation, and claiming that it had been established and trained by American-British intelligence authorities.

As for the USA and West axis, they are presenting the “ISIL is an organization within the frame of Al Qaida, Al Nusra” scenario as a reason for the operation. Also, the thesis that “USA and England’s Middle East policies are differing via ISIL” cannot be disregarded. If England is in, then Saudi Arabia is in for sure. Let me state another eccentricity: if the USA is included in something, Saudi Arabia will surely be in as well.

Then, how so? Is Saudi Arabia playing both sides? Are they making a counter operation with the USA, while supporting a terrorist organization under the table with the British? I think it’s possible… Hence, I’m of the opinion that questioning the ISIL matter within the Saudi Arabia system will give us serious clues.

While Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates seem like they are supporting ISIL under the table, on the other hand they are not abstaining themselves from giving support to the coalition under USA’s lead with a great desire. Actually, most of these countries’ conditions are not that different from Saudi Arabia’s. I’m noticing dual attitudes in all of them.

There is a puzzle, a mystery in the middle. There is an unknown. This much of an unknown cannot be provided without states and intelligence agencies. An organization alone, no matter how skillful, can’t pull off this stunt.

Yes, ISIL is a Sunni organization. There are also forces, which are left behind from Iraq’s Ba’ath period. I guess that these forces are the important part of the people who are directing this organization. Thus, we need to carefully observe who are working with them as a result of what kind of negotiations.

The issue is not the identity, but rather, is to be the Troy horse…

The priority is not ISIL’s Sunnism or Islamism. The matter of who have what kind of plans over them is the deadlier reality. In such cases, information poisoning, media operations, images, perception management, will force most of the people to make errors. A clean thought and reality cannot come out from this pollution. The formed image will prevent the reality and cover the truth most of the time.

Now we are in such a case.

Whether it is under British intelligence’s administration, whether it is the secret operation of the Gulf, whether it is the Sunni shield formed against Iran by Sunni Arab regimes, ISIL seems like a “project” directed at re-designing the region.

Big countries taking positions because of an organization, and, activating their plans towards the region via an organization, is already suspicious. No matter what the ideas and world views of the people fighting at the ISIL side are, something is being planned via their deaths and their war. When we understand all of this, then, and only then, we will be catching the truth. Turkey is also one of the countries that designate its situation via this new situation. Turkey’s condition is not like that of the USA and England, who are quite far away from the incident scene. Turkey is right at the center of the security issues. Leaving aside the risk that the conflicts in the region might hurt the national security and resolution process, there is also a danger that millions of immigrants might raid our borders. And on top of all that, Turkey also has a Syria issue.

Emperorship projects are returning to the region

PYD-ISIL conflicts shouldn’t provoke Turkey. Because we know that organization is changing positions constantly. Until yesterday, PYD was fighting at the Damascus administration’s side. Tomorrow this might happen again. Then, the “Safe Zone” strategy is the original approach to this situation designated by Turkey and we should insist in this matter.

The precautions that will be taken, the possible interferences following the memorandum, will be completely according to Turkey’s priorities. Turkey will be involved in the region regarding the security politics more than ever. The signs are pointing towards this.

The ones, who are taking positions via ISIL uncertainty, might find themselves within unavoidable problems tomorrow. Because of this, Turkey is not designating its position according to ISIL, nor, according to the USA and other coalition members. Rather, Turkey is designating its position according to inconsistency and crises, and, the possibilities directed at the future of the region.

From my point of view, this is an extremely healthy attitude. Risk can only be taken because of this and, if necessary, it will be taken as well. Turkey had envisaged this.

Following the memorandum and security summit, we will be able to see the new situation more clearly. However, while observing these, I advise you to watch the power quarrels for the system in Saudi Arabia via ISIL.

British scent and war

In the first days, when we had witnessed the rapid rising of the organization, I had warned you about the “British scent”. Let me repeat that.

All the countries are returning to the region with their emperorship pasts. This is the essential reality. The others are only details, materials and reasons…

Final note: No matter what happens in the Middle East, Turkey had never made such a preparation. For the first time it is making a preparation for the region and a crisis with all its elements.

War included…

I bid you a good Bayram…
