Who is bringing the 'Gezi events' up on the agenda and why? Are new multinational plans being made? Nobody should dare make plans for a conservative Gezi revolt!

Why are the Gezi Park events suddenly being brought up on the agenda again after five years?

What could be the reason the "Gezi Park Events" are coming up on the agenda all over again at a time when election campaigns, alliance negotiations, candidate discussions and - based on this – when conflicts aimed at Turkey in general are reigniting, a time when everybody is more open about their thoughts, and the hot topics surrounding us have become secondary? Is there such an atmosphere? Is there such a concern or quest?

Or, is a comparison being drawn between the Gezi Park events and the public "interest," which "some" show as "unrest" and are insisting on exaggerating? Are there efforts to reach a conclusion with this? Are there efforts aimed at building and running an irrelevant process, establish unrelated connections, and make irrelevant goals "innocent"?

Some are after seriously evil pursuits

I’m surprised. Is it the investigations that were initiated on the Gezi Park events or the arrest warrants issued regarding those who provoked street terrorism back then that started this debate? Very unlikely.

Is it the discussions about the local elections that brought the Gezi Park events back up on the agenda? Unlikely. You can discuss everything with respect to the elections, but you cannot form an agenda that overlaps with the Gezi Park events, you cannot draw comparison or feed the public such an expectation. If this is being done, then there are certain groups that are after seriously evil pursuits.

Is it the “yellow vest” protests in Paris that brought the Gezi Park events back up on the agenda in Turkey? Of course not. Similarities were drawn, and the attitude of French politicians and media then and now were questioned and criticized. But that is all.

New political wave, new psychological operation

Unfortunately, the intentions behind bringing up the topic of the Gezi Park events in Turkey once again can be sensed. The events around us and abroad, as well as some pursuits in Turkey itself coinciding, and the Gezi debate showing parallels with these must be drawing the attention of many.

There are efforts that started before the elections - and which will likely become much more obvious after they conclude- to form a new political wave, establish an oppositional front, build its psychological infrastructure and hence lay the foundations of a social ground. What is strange is that a covert psychological operation is being conducted instead of an open opposition organization.

Gezi Park was an open 'foreign' intervention. Will you be calling people to take to the streets again?

Efforts to form a model similar to the "joint model" that was formed during the previous presidential and general elections under the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) in another field today is striking. This is a different area and it mostly addresses the Justice and Development (AK) Party’s organic faction. Bringing the Gezi Park events up on the agenda with such a logic bears dangers for this country.

Because the Gezi Park events were not an internal opposition matter. It was a direct foreign intervention targeting Turkey. They tried doing then what they attempted to do on July 15, 2016 with a military coup through the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) by gathering certain marginal opposition groups under a single roof and releasing them on the streets.

'Unrest' discourse being promoted again

Toppling President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, eliminating Turkey's current state mind and its supporters, "switching the regime" in Turkey through a social revolt and street terrorism was a scenario prepared and played out to give this country hostage to the Atlantic axis again.

It was a multinational intervention under the guise of internal opposition. We experienced a more intense version of this on July 15, 2016. We saw a different version of it in northern Syria.

Now, some groups are insisting on forming a new unrest discourse to create a similar social reaction. Following this, they are making plans of coming to power and carrying out structurings in line with these plans. They are promoting an "innocent" tone and perspective through this.

This is why they are targeting the People's Alliance

Considering the nature, characteristics and multinational identity of the Gezi Park events, a not-so-innocent pursuit is revealed. That ideology hidden behind hesitant discourses in columns and television screens these days may very soon more blatantly reveal itself. This is in no way an internal politics plan. It is in no way within the boundaries of the legitimacy of opposition.

Efforts aimed at dividing the People's Alliance, which we call the "Turkey axis," is an indication of this; they are trying to separate and weaken the resistance lines. A structuring in this direction, right under our noses, and its promotion in the media can no longer be hidden. Covert operations are being carried out by infiltrating certain institutes that are sensitive with respect to Erdoğan and by using their power.

Nobody should dare plan a conservative street revolt

Everybody has the right to engage in political opposition in this country. But those who want a nation that has already encountered numerous multinational plots to encounter yet another multinational plot are in no way innocent. Those who are using the conservatives as a veil to attempt a new provocation, a new "foreign intervention" need to beware.

We see them and we are aware. This is the reason behind my personal concern. You need to realize that this country is sick and tired of such plots. Nobody should dare plan an intervention through the conservatives or make plans of social unrest through them!
