Who will be the Prime Minister!

For the past 12 years, Turkey had met political power, economic prosperity and communal stability. From the "we are nothing" pessimism, we had reached a splendid self-confidence and comfort. The discriminative, dismissive and humiliating tone of the politics and the press had become ineffective. The more it crashed into the strong AK Party expression, the more it melted.

The already weak, political theses of these circles started to lose the attention of people other than a narrow communal field. The bulk flow, communal tendency had surpassed these theses. We could say that the melting and dwindling effectiveness will be continuing for the ones, who are still moving with narrow, barren conflicts and personal concerns. And they will lose power each passing day; their political identities will become blurred and used up.

No matter what anyone says, the twelve-year period, had become the stage for the biggest transformation of the Republic"s history. The national will, local view and communal perception had reached the highest level. There will be no turning back in this period.

Turkey wants the same comfort to continue. It had given this message clearly in general, local and Presidential elections. In the recent elections on Sunday, they had buried the communal opponent front formula, which gathered thirteen political parties and the Fethullah Gülen group together and became a monotonous expression via the custom-made Presidential candidate, into history.

Trailing after the maledictions

The message given here is for everyone: this is the announcement that a country like Turkey cannot be administered with maledictions, tribal policies and street fights. This is a strong "no" to selfishness, personal passions, narrow circle benefits, the Gülen-led group and marginal statements.

Consequently, not only should the "project front" members take this message, but rather everyone should. The one"s, who can betray this reference, trust and reliance, should take the necessary lesson. For now, one of Turkey"s biggest issues is the exhaustion of a traditional opposition. In the latest elections, since they had transferred all their theses to a congregation, they had been dragged to a point of no return.

Also, there are no signs of any attempts to pull through this collapse. Until they query or reject the will that gathers them together, they will have no chance to pull through this dead-end. Because that someone had landed the last blow to the opposition via the Gülen-led group and entrapped them horribly.

Tayyip Erdogan being elected as the President, and especially being elected directly by the votes of the public, is a milestone in the history of Turkey. The milestone here is not the election of the President with the votes of public, but rather, the nation"s embracing the will and managing the state"s rulership. This is what we call revolution and the communal flow will be continuing in this direction in the forthcoming years. Thus, whoever goes against the wind, will lose.

The Prime Minister is in this formula

During one of our meetings, Erdogan had mentioned such a formula: A strong President that is chosen by the public. A strong Prime Minister that is chosen by the public. A strong Parliament and cabinet that is chosen by the public. The compatibility between the President and the Prime Minister and a strong Turkey…

Nobody should expect an ineffective, passive Prime Minister. As of today, the ones, who will manage Turkey, have no luxury to be weak or passive. Because there is no such Turkey anymore. There is a Turkey, which is struggling on every front of the world league.

A strong President, strong Prime Minister and strong communal support are not the calculations of AK Party after this point. This requirement had gone beyond all the political expressions in Turkey and became a reality and necessity.

We don"t want to be reminded of the old wounds. We don"t want a political fight, competition, which is directed by personal fights and in which the policy and discourse is prominent. The ones", who are gathering power via the main communal stream that is led by Erdogan, misinterpretation of this power will become a serious mistake and lead to isolation.

The foreign-supported intervention attempts that we encounter in the past year were set to sabotage this power gathering. The hatred felt towards Erdogan"s victory in some Western capitals is not only something personal as it was surmised. I"m sure that after the Prime Minister is announced, similar attacks will increase.

Whoever is behind the December 17th-25th attempts, they are the ones who entrapped CHP and MHP. They are the ones who want to sabotage the strong communal tendency today. In the future, the ones who are pursuing personal calculations might suddenly find themselves within the same front.

What"s left for us is to applaud this consciousness

We are facing a communal truth, which is unaffected and not directed by the old political expression, old media language and pop sociologist writers. The ones, who are unaware of this reality, or the ones, who are humiliating or going against this reality, will lose. People who are working in these circles will be forced to realize this exhaustion facing them.

In the Turkey of policies, principles, visions and claims, the ones who hold their personal political passions above these, might face a dramatic ending. In the economic field, foreign policy field, communal reconciliation field and the honorable struggle field of the nation, new names might become prominent.

The AK Party personnel, that collective consciousness and memory, which actualized the twelve-year long transformation, will be giving the best answer to the "Who will be the Prime Minister" question. The ones, who are waiting for a fight, the ones, who are feeding the fight and disintegration, had always been mistaken. And they will be making mistakes again.

This collective consciousness has the sufficiency and maturity to continue the great transformation of Turkey for at least another decade. It will be like this.

What"s left for us is to applaud the ones who are struggling in this way.
