Map is memory, experience, power; it is nations’ line of destiny. When you look at the map, you not only see the past but also the future. The map is a source of the most valuable information.

The map will show you nations’ rise and falls, the strengthening and division of states, the reasons underlying past wars and crises, whose star will shine and whose will fall in the future.

The map presents political theories, security theories, the reason behind alliances and major disintegrations, why civilization basins and certain regions have become barren.

It’s like a set alarm; It tells us what will happen, when, where.

Surely, I am one of those who acquired the soundest and most accurate information from the map. There is very small margin of error for a good reader who uses this method.

The map is a determinant in every matter ranging from trade to politics, security, the weakening and strengthening of civilizations, wealth and poverty, to culture.

The Silk Road’s shift to the seas led to change in the world’s power map – a process that lasted centuries. Today, as the Bering Strait continues to diminish, global trade paths are changing all over again. The global power map is also changing.

The Iron Silk Road, spanning China and London, energy corridors and the traffic is changing – and will continue to change – the power map as well as wealth. This is a change that will continue through centuries.

The “Muslim region” that spreads through the Atlantic Ocean to the shores of the Pacific and forms the earth’s main axis, the area which I personally call the “middle zone,” controls the majority of maritime and land trade routes alongside energy slates and transport corridors.

This has been the case for centuries. This is the reason why the Ottoman Empire paid such prices and resisted in Yemen, the shores of the Red Sea, and in the Persian Gulf. The West’s role as the center of this region weakened as soon as trade corridors shifted to the seas.

Today, in the 21st century, this zone is becoming the focal point once again. It is progressing towards forming the earth’s main axis. Now, land and maritime corridors, energy sources as well as energy corridors are all becoming concentrated in this zone all over again.

This tumultuous change is the source of all the problems we are encountering in our region, all the problems Turkey is currently facing.

This is the reason behind all the invasions from Afghanistan through to Iraq, the wars from Yemen to Syria, and the power struggle in Libya.

Turkey is now on the stage as a new and strong player in this showdown of big powers. After accurate reading of the global power shift, it started to fight for existence in its region. It responded to those drawing maps with its own map.

It started to make progress by destroying, one-by-one, all the post-Ottoman tutelage and control mechanisms. It launched a new grand march by questioning the losses in World War I, carrying to the present regional claims, and carefully reviewing the maps all over again.

This change is the reason behind everything from the Gezi Park Events in 2012 to the July 15, 2016 coup and invasion attempt, from the “terror corridor” to the East Mediterranean siege. Terrorist organizations were mobilized for this purpose. Sadly, in this storm, certain political parties and formations in our country chose to stand in the pro-tutelage front against Turkey.

Those who gave no support whatsoever in efforts to negate the terror corridor acted no differently with respect to the Mediterranean deal with Libya. The same circles have now been steered towards the Canal Istanbul project and have started to attack that project. The same circles are also known to provide overt or covert support to the July 15 coup attempt.

During the Gezi Park events, they were against the third bridge, the third airport, and Canal Istanbul. They were presenting lists as if to give memorandums to the government. They were threatening Turkey in the name of Germany, Israel, the U.S., and Atlantic countries.

On July 15, 2016, the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) had gifted Istanbul’s the European side to them and accordingly made agreements. They were saying, “Or else, we will drown Turkey in terrorism.” Drown they did.

They were planning to oust the government and stop Turkey before Turkey’s great defense moves reached their conclusion. They were now playing with their cards open and carrying on the war openly.

The Turkey-Libya deal expanded Turkey’s surface area by almost 200,000 square kilometers. Our perception of the map has changed. This is frightening them so much now that they are going to mobilize all the pro-tutelage circles in our midst.

They are dead scared that Canal Istanbul will lead to the abolishment of the Montreux Convention. Because this convention restricts our sovereignty rights over the straits. So, in whose name is the anti-Canal Istanbul “Montreux lobby” working? In whose name is it stealing from Turkey?

This is a series of opposition that has been ongoing ever since the start. They have now been steered towards the Canal Istanbul project. In the very near future, they are going to wreak havoc saying “Turkey is working on nuclear weapons.”

A process that started in Israel and is continuing in the U.S. has already been launched. It will not be long before it comes to Turkey. Certain groups within will be activated. They have already been handed their next agenda following Canal Istanbul.

The pro-tutelage centers that are mobilizing them against Canal Istanbul today are going to give this instruction tomorrow. That is when you will see the true faces of the “environmentalists” then. They are all on the invasion front – just as they were during World War I. We call them the “native invaders.”
