I would prefer to say “I have extremely realpolitik and sensible reasons.” However, that is not the case. The U.S. has entered the most complex, weird and irrational period of its history. And this is because of very dangerous reasons.
No, I don’t have any conspiracy theories. When you just read what is going on, you will easily see that there is no way that relations will improve.
It is not only our country who has bad relations with the U.S. and which won’t improve in the future either if it won’t change its policy. Time Magazine summarized this situation in its January issue: “America Alone.” The magazine explains how Trump’s policies are isolating the U.S., how he is at loggerheads with the rest of the world and how they are alone.
In my opinion, Time magazine is making a mistake pinning the blame on Trump because (if we would use the expressions of the U.S. media) “the tactless and unbalanced orange-head U.S. president’ is not the only reason. The reasons the U.S. is at loggerheads with the rest of the world and has become isolated is as follows:
1. Trump’s inconsistent and unsuccessful administration
2. The appointment of ex-military men to ministries and critical positions.
3. The fact that the important decisions are being made not for realpolitik reasons but theo-politik ones because of the Evangelist Christian cadres who are gradually dominating the state.
4. The sharp and dramatic changes in the American society.
Due to these four reasons, it is impossible for us to have good relations with the U.S. It is not only us. Nobody (except for Israel) can have good relations with them.
Let me elaborate.
Liberals, leftists, and democrats have declared war against the most tactless and unbalanced U.S. President ever. Nearly the entire American media (except for Fox) is considering Trump as an enemy. However, Trump is getting great support from extreme right, radical Christian, anti-globalization, anti-rich and Islamophobic masses.
The most important support comes from the Pentagon. And for this reason, the discharge process cannot be started. What is feared is a possible internal conflict. As long as Trump is in power things are not looking up in any way.
Today, there are five ex-servicemen governing the U.S. policy. These are The Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Secretary of State Pompeo, National Security Advisor Mc Master, White House Chief of Staff Kelly, CENTCOM Commander Votel (for detailed information, see my article dated March 15, 2018).
The common point of these servicemen is, first and foremost, having a soldier’s mentality! They pay no attention to the core elements of politics such as diplomacy, economic priorities and partnership. They are all hawks, radical religionists, extreme rightists, xenophobic and Islamophobic.
The foundation of a PKK/YPG “state” in northern Syria, allowing Barzani to hold an independence referendum, relations with Turkey souring are all the results of these soldier-minded persons.
In the US, these people are called the “Zionist Christians” and “American Talibans.”
The expansionist, radical Christian Evangelist movement is growing so fast that these people are about to dominate state’s cadres. In the era of Bush junior and today, Bible reading sessions are being held in the White House.
This branch of Christianity is more hardline than of Catholicism and Protestantism. The main reason why they are collaborating with the Jews is to “force God to bring to Doomsday to an earlier date.” Figure out the rest!
Trump in under the influence of “radical religionists” now. This is the team behind the Jerusalem decision. If Trump is removed from office, his successor Vice President Pence is an hardline Evangelist. (For detailed information, see my article dated March 21, 2018).
A society electing Trump has to be a lab for sociology, psychology, and theology.
As a matter of fact, it has had. American intelligentsia is working like hell in order to understand “what is the matter with this nation?’
Organizations such as The Tea Party, Alt-Right movement are bringing the hardest, most extreme and crazy types of the society together. These are bearing arms, undergoing training in training camps. They have the potential to stop the constructions of mosques through their protests.
Their common points are the same that of the abovementioned persons. Extreme rightists, xenophobic, Islamophobic, anti-globalization, anti-rich, radical religionists… Even if Trump is removed from office this society will elect somebody very similar to him.
For all these reasons, nobody should expect relations with the U.S. to get better, the PKK problem being in the first place, because they are not rationalists and they are not driven by reason. They are making their decisions by thinking “What would Jesus Christ say?” That is, they are acting theo-politically. The U.S. is going in the direction of becoming a (Christian) “sharia state!”
For this reason, we have to paddle our own canoe. The more powerful we become as a state, the more we will defend ourselves. There is no other way.
