New and bigger cyclones

Can you ever imagine finding yourself suddenly surrounded by water under the heat of August, when you actually wanted to have a picnic on a Sunday with your family? This is what had happened to tens of families at Siirt Tillo. They were buried under dam waters. Until now, five people had lost their lives; children were included in this number.

What had happened to some Chinese people, who were traveling thousands of kilometers to make money, wasn"t so far from this. The PKK kidnapped three Chinese civil engineers while they were shopping in a grocery store next to the thermal power plant at Sirnak.

A Fenerbahçe and a Galatasaray fan had a fight at Manisa, where the Super Cup Final was later held in the evening; lastly, there were two wounded.

According to tourism data, there was a 13% increase in July. The Russian citizens, who are standing

like a wall in front of our Syria policy, were again number one by far. The Germans are the runner-up, as it had been for many years. The same German citizens, who were apparently wiretapping us. Besides, it"s been claimed that they had been doing so since 1976, not just recently. It seems like Berlin is not uncomfortable with having their wiretapping revealed. While the President of the Court of Cassation was delivering Prime Minister Erdogan"s invitation in order to invite him to the Opening of the Court Year on the 1st of September, he also had the decision of the Council of Presidents with him, because the Council had decided on the continuation of the President of the Bar Association"s speech practice, with the majority of votes. In such a situation, all of us will be waiting to see whether Erdogan will attend the opening as a President or not. In the last meeting, because of Feyzioglu"s reaction against his long and political speech, he had demanded a change in the practice.

I hope they will come to terms and the first meeting he will attend as the President will contribute towards lessening the tensions.

Recently, President Abdullah Gül had published a farewell speech for the public. By emphasizing that he had hugged the state and the nation during his Presidency and conducted his task of ensuring the compatibility between the governmental institutions and conducting the Constitution, he had said, "Despite my political identity, I had preserved my neutrality meticulously".

After his final message, from now on Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be sitting in that office and living in that Kiosk.

Because of this, the continuation of the publications against Gül is not right, in accordance to his Presidency practices and the party"s past.

While it"s clear that the ones, who want or desire this, are outside the party, and especially its useless for the writers, who are close to the party, to find a reason and get in to this action and write articles, which they will say "I wish I didn"t write that" in the future.

From now on, we have a new President, a new Prime Minister and a new Cabinet in front of us.

The President and the Prime Minister are known, but I guess the Cabinet is not being formed before the night of the 28th of August, with names, which we cannot know without guessing.

It"s only possible to write about how the government structure will be, rather than talking about a name.

When we think about the time left "till the election, I"m expecting no big changes and I"m waiting for a Cabinet, which will be supported with one or two surprise names and some names who will soon be former ministers since the AK Party government will be changing.

On the contrary to the ones, who are raising the expectations, I don"t deem MIT Undersecretary Fidan likely to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs; whoever is assigned to that position, naturally Prime Minister Davutoglu"s and President Erdogan"s influence on this field will continue. At the beginning of the article, I had mentioned the people at the picnic, who were exposed to an unaccountable flood; the two fanatic fans, who had fought with each other at Manisa; and the engineers, who had arrived from China and were kidnapped at a grocery store in Sirnak.

I"m not even mentioning the irony right next to our borders, such as the passport variety of ISIL militants, which includes citizens of Western countries.

Everything is changing rapidly, becoming more complex and entangled.

While the natural disasters we encounter constantly are left innocent next to the cyclones, we are face to face with cyclones and whirlpools both as an individual and as a community.

It"s apparent that we are living in a world, where people, who don"t have a mind, who don"t have brakes on their hearts or lost them, will be dragged rapidly to uncertainty.

It"s time to reinforce our minds, hearts and brakes, rather than wearing them out.
