It isn't possible to explain the Kurdistan Workers' Party's (PKK) recently accelerated attacks with its own performance, scope or capacity. Nor can it be explained with the internal tension and conflict within Turkey. As the relations between the state and Kurds improve and the rest of the society integrate with Kurds, as tension decreases and understanding increases, we better see that the attacks have nothing to do with Kurds. The roots, meaning and aim of this violence is based on something else.
