Under the supervision of a US-led coalition, Russia is currently completing its invasion of Syria, right beside us, step by step. The Democratic Union Party (PYD) and Syrian leader Bashar Assad's regime, under heavy Russian bombardment against Aleppo, are busy making unlivable the rare areas in which the oppressed Syrian people in Aleppo can take a breath and invading it by completely, purging the opposition in this region. The heavy burden this step will cost for NATO member and US ally Turkey is inconceivable. The world is even discussing the possibility of a secret agreement between Russia and the US, which is so indifferent to both Russia and the murderous Syrian regime. We mentioned it before in the column. The passive attitude of US President Barack Obama's administration encourages Russia and with the increased courage it got from the lack of reaction to its small testing of the waters, is filling all the areas the US has vacated.
