As a result of the ISIL terrorists' attacks, 200,000Kobani civilians were forced to seek shelter in our country, and thus, entered Turkey's agenda with striking drama. Actually, since the beginning of the war in Syria, this wasn't the first immigrant stream that sought shelter in Turkey.
One and a half million Syrian immigrants, even before the Kobani immigrants, were already in Turkey. None of their arrival had been this problematic and lousy. Turkey opened its doors to everyone running away from war, ranging from Arabs, Turkmens, Armenians to Yezidis, and providing them with humane aid.
Thus, Turkey wasn't only performing a necessity, but also easing the consciousness of the Western humanity, which had built high walls of prosperity for themselves and don't even steer towards letting people run away over that wall from death.
No matter from which angle you look at Turkey's immigrant and humane aid policies; it's a complete humanity saga. Each day, hundreds of immigrants, who are on a journey of hope in ships with non-humane conditions in order to find a way to save themselves by reaching the European shores, are dying on the way there and hit the bottom of the sea. As for the ones who survive the journey and reach the coasts; they are exposed to a complete non-humane treatment.
In the past few days, the EU countries made a summit, and reached the result that they cannot be silent against the refugee wave coming with this hope journey from Syria, and declared that they will accept 40,000 immigrants on the condition of distributing between all the EU countries. Think about it; this is the number of immigrants 27 EU countries stated to accept within a year. This number is one fifth of the number of immigrants Turkey accepted from Kobani within 3 days. 193,000 immigrants from Kobani entered Turkey within a couple of days, and most of them had been placed in camps, which had become the mark of Turkey's humane aid quality, and some of the had been distributed between cities. The aids towards Kobani Kurds are still continuing.
Possibly, the immigrants from Kobani received even more aids/support than one and a half million Syrian immigrants received previously. However, no immigrant wave caused the resound as the Kobani immigrants. Besides the fact that there had been no other country than Turkey that helped Kobani, Turkey's streets had been turned into a war zone by using the happenings in Kobani as an excuse.
The militants, who had been poured to the streets to attract attention by HDP Co-Chairman Selahattin Demirtaş, put their signatures on a complete show of violence. Yasin Börü and his friends became a symbol of this violence show. The militants chasing ISIL had turned into ISIL monsters themselves.
The fact that all this violence had been caused in the name of aid to Kobani is causing serious confusion against the happenings in Kobani. As the people, who are irrelevant to the clear victimization and oppression, create a reason to oppress other irrelevant people, it started to shape the silhouette of Kobani in people's minds. Despite the fact that Turkey has been the primary target and victim of the ISIL terrorist organization since the beginning, there is an attempt to bring Kobani demonstrations' rumble and ISIL together. Without a doubt, this is a disgusting, dirty and lowly propaganda. This disgusting propaganda is almost at the same level of ISIL's violence and disgustingness, and no steps or words in this matter have any meaning. While Turkey focused on more effective and meaningful precautions against the damage caused by ISIL in Syria and Iraq, the parallel media, especially HDP members, started to publish news that accuse Turkey of supporting ISIL, after the attacks on Kobani. Despite the fact that YPG's senior official reported that the demonstrators entered from the South, West and Jarabulus, not Turkey, these publications continued with the same rumble.
Of course, there is a calculation that these publications have an effect in the world. Since it cannot be proved, it will not provide a legal result. However, they are expecting it to feed the “Turkey is supporting terror” image. Isn't this terror? Terror is not just exploding bombs. Through these expressions, it's possible to increase the effectiveness of the bombs and assigning a target for those bombs. Thus, no doubt, these expressions are becoming a part of that terror.
By the way, some people stated their astonishments to our mentioning that “PYD is conducting relocation. It seems that they are seeing PYD, whose pictures in Tel Abyad as they are dancing the halay are published as a peace show to the world, as a savior. As those militants are dancing the halay, where did the Turkmens and Arabs running from the Turkish borders come from?
Truly, what's PYD doing in Tel Abyad, whose population consists of Turkmen and Arabs?
Are they saving Tel Abyad from ISIL, or are they invading it? They are not only invading Tel Abyad, they are also forcing the community to migrate within the context of a complete ethnical cleansing. Afterwards, they are also dancing the halay. The Western media is presenting this insolent halay (folk dance) as “people are happy to be saved from the ISIL oppression”.
Is there a better terror than this insolence that enrages people?
