The name of the masked ball is 'Fighting Daesh'

Russia's interest in the Middle East has taken a new turn since the Syrian crisis started. It can be said that the claimant situation created in Libya after being deceived, was put to good use in supporting the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

It seems that Russian President Vladimir Putin has turned a claimant psychology generated from unjust suffering into an international legal gain. Instead of feeling guilty about supporting Assad, a tyrant who has killed 400,000 of his own people, Putin is trying to generate a claimant position for himself in front of the world with the Russian plane crisis. Furthermore, there does not seem to be a country that will throw this into Putin's face.

Using a “the pot calling the kettle black" shiftiness, Putin is trying to expand Russia's land. Astonished, we can watch the US, the founding country of NATO, physically abandon the countries Russia enters.

In my previous articles I touched upon the troubles that would be caused due to the US and NATO passively watching Russia. Every void in which the US does not interfere, Russia is trying to fill.

Is this prearranged between the US and Russia? Questions are being asked whether they have secret negotiations going on, just like they did after the Cold War. The “cooperative" attitude displayed by the US in Syria has to be discussed, as the US disappointed the world, especially Eastern Europe, with its stance against Russia in Ukraine. Even more, it has been disclosed that Russia has requested military bases in Egypt and Algeria to further settle in Syria. Who will Russia use these bases against? Won't these bases take away from the US hegemony in these countries?

Putin's recent statements at the usual year-end evaluation meeting indicate that the issue is not a secret agreement. Putin clearly wished in his speech during the year-end meeting that, he would work in accord with the US president-to-be in the upcoming elections, just as they did with Obama.

Meanwhile, Obama's attitude and US Secretary of State John Kerry's statement, “Both countries will effectively cooperate" during his meeting with his counterpart Lavrov in Russia, shows that the situation is more serious than thought. It is not possible that the US does not understand that Russia is in Syria for everything other than battling Daesh.

Besides, the war on Daesh has turned into a password to be accepted to the gambling table in the Middle East. Thus, France declared that it would continue its war on Daesh in Libya, after the Paris attacks. Doesn't this alone reveal the picture clearly?

A new sharing is being staged in the Middle East, and the only condition for someone to participate and take a share is to declare war on Daesh (these countries do not have to literally join the war, declaring war on Daesh is enough to take a stake.) Yet, not everyone who declares war is allowed to become a shareholder. For example, when Turkey declared war and physically took action, this set up gave itself away and the functions were disclosed.

Initially being invited to Mosul by the Iraqi administration to train and equip the brigade comprised of the people in the region, Turkey was then declared, with a big fuss, as illegally invading Iraq, by the Iraqi government, upon training this brigade to fight against Daesh. They suddenly remembered that Mosul was Iraqi land, forgetting that they handed the city over to Daesh without using a single bullet.

Whereas, officially being Iraqi land, Mosul is now neither under Iraqi dominance or administration. Turkey is doing nothing more than just struggling to clear Mosul of Daesh.

Turkey trying to clear Mosul of Daesh is perceived as a threat, whereas Mosul is using the city to finance its dirty war.

Thus, this clearly shows that the circles claiming Turkey supports Daesh, virtually have no problem with Daesh in reality.

However, Turkey is transparently taking up its position against Daesh. Turkey is giving the plan away by saying, “ If you want war against Daesh, then war you have, but courageously!"
