The July 15 coup and invasion attempt was a multi-faceted attack on Turkey's independence and future.

This attack was repelled with epic and almost unprecedented resistance: This stoic public used their faith as a shield and dealt a huge blow to the coup makers: They marched over the tanks and repelled the attack. 

Now they are trying to introduce the political leg of the coup step by step.

The military coup was repelled, but the bureaucratic coup has not yet been removed completely: A huge blow was dealt to the Fetullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ), but they are still operating in the judiciary, issuing verdicts that cause indignation in society.

This fact lies behind the government’s major operations against this bureaucratic / political coup in recent weeks. 

This implicit bureaucratic coup, which continues in the judiciary in particular, can issue scary decisions that can cause tension in the country and bring it to the threshold of chaos. Those who make these decisions in the judiciary are not only FETÖ members or clandestine FETÖ members, but also neo-nationalists and seculars who are settling into/infiltrating top bureaucratic echelons step by step. 

The most recent instance of this operation is the six-year prison sentence that has been inflicted on Free Cause Party (Hüda-Par) administrators probably by neo-nationalists. The suit had been opened by lawyers, who are still under arrest on charges of being FETÖ members, during the Feb. 28, 1997 process. 

I had underlined during the July 15 attack that July 15 was a process which was the continuation and a new phase of the Feb. 28 process. 

It is a multi-faceted, multi-dimensional and extremely intricate process aimed at preventing Turkey from growing, strengthening, achieving its true independence, gaining claims to civilization in time and attempting a historical march. 

The military leg of the coup was repelled, but the coup is implicitly continuing in many respects.  On the first anniversary of July 15, they will introduce the political leg of the coup and try to drag Turkey to the brink of chaos by internal and external political, economic and strategic attacks.

The Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's march from Ankara to Istanbul by focusing on a sensitive problem like justice that cannot be ignored by anyone constitutes one part of the political leg of the coup. We will see where this march will drag Turkey in a few days. 

If Kılıçdaroğlu acted jointly with the government against coup makers like Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, and developed a common state/nation policy, the internal and external legs of the coup would receive a heavy blow.

But Kılıçdaroğlu deals a blow to Turkey with his action, encourages coup makers and paves the way for them. I wonder whether he can see this. 

When I sit at the table to write this article, the European Parliament (EP) decided to suspend Turkey's EU negotiations.

Turkey has been literally fighting a multi-faceted struggle for independence and future for two centuries.

Therefore, Westerners think that Turkey should not be left alone, and they doubt Turkey’s even smallest steps in acting independently of the Western alliance and determining its own future.

Westerners regard every step taken by Turkey in its path toward independence from London, Washington, Tel Aviv and Brussels as a milestone in the country’s struggle for independence and future. 

Finally, the day before, Hüda-Par vice-chairmen Bahattin Temel and Sait Şahin and Rehber TV editor-in-chief Fikret Gültekin were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months of imprisonment – which is a disgusting plot!

But let us note that they are the lovers of Prophet Muhammad. They will destroy the plot with Ummah-consciousness!

I call on the Justice Ministry to lawfully intervene in the situation.
