Turkish actress Burcu Kiratli whom we all know and love from Turkey’s hit TV series Resurrection: Ertugrul as Gökçe Hatun took to social media on Monday, slamming reality TV stars for throwing birthday bashes, flouting the rules of social distancing as many people worldwide struggle for their livelihoods.

Miss Turkey 2018 Şevval Şahin and reality TV star Yiğit Marcus Aral had thrown subsequent parties, which had resulted in at least 10 people contracting the novel virus.

Miss Turkey then made a statement saying, “It’s no big deal. Only ten people’s test results came back positive.”

Kiratli took to her Instagram account and posted stories of Şahin’s comments, slamming her ignorance.

“It’s such a shame. How can you say just ten? Is ten a small number. Especially when our country is urging constant caution. It’s because of this ignorance that so many people and business sectors are being harmed,” she wrote.

Often described as the Turkish Game of Thrones, the series depicts the 13th century Anatolia and tells the story before the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. It illustrates the struggle of Ertugrul Gazi, father of the empire's first leader.

The series illustrates the struggle of Ertuğrul and his warriors against a plethora of adversaries from the Knights Templar to Mongol invaders.

According to the state-run Pakistan Television (PTV), 133.38 million people have so far watched the drama series from April 25- May 14. Also, its episodes are trending on YouTube in Pakistan every day.
