Over 16,000 tons of cargo from Azerbaijan were transported via Turkish ports during the first half of 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
In total, 188.2 million tons of cargo were transported through Turkish ports from January through June 2021.
During this period, 15.4 million tons of cargo were transported to domestic ports via ships carrying the Turkish flag while other countries’ ships accounted for 172.8 million tons.
