Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.42% at close

Turkey's benchmark stock index rose 0.42% to 119,280.87 points at the close on Monday.

After starting the week at 118,844.45 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 494.78 points from Friday's close of 118,786.09 points.

During the day, the index hovered between 118,582.78 and 119,747.30 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was 873 billion Turkish liras ($127 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 19.1 billion Turkish liras ($2.8 billion).
