World’s famous social media content creators and bloggers around the globe are preparing to meet in Istanbul to discuss new travel trends.

A two-day ‘INFLOW Travel Summit 2017’ will host 150 influential content creators from 30 countries and 100 prominent names from Turkey.

The summit, scheduled to begin on Apr. 18, will provide a platform to share new travel trends via presentations, panels and workshops, Emre Gelen, the chairman of the summit, said in a statement.

"Travel tendency have been changing in the last couple of years, therefore everyone wants to have different experiences and most of them want to share those experiences with a large mass instantly," Gelen said.

He said 150 foreigners participating in the event have access to 66 million followers all around the world through social media platforms.

"In this point I think events such as travel summit would make a significant contribution in Turkish tourism sector."

Gelen said that the event will continue in Antalya right after the summit in Istanbul, on April 20-23.

Inflow Travel Summit 2017 will be held with support of Turkey's Culture and Tourism Ministry and Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, with Turkish Airlines and TAV airports as main sponsors.
